New to me MESA Walkabout Scout 15" Silverface

I was digging through the myriad of subject related posts and thought maybe TBers could save me a wee bit of eye fry as I have a couple issues:
1. I need to change out the fan I believe I've found a TB recommended replacement:
SilenX EFX-08-15 Effizio 80x25mm 15dBA 32CFM PC Computer Case Fan.
Please let me know if I have ID'd a viable option and if not any suggestions would be cool.
2. There's a 7(?) second delay after I power on before she'll produce some sound. Is that normal ops? It sounds like a relay kicking in and then the sweet goodness...

I'd have to check the fan specifics, but the one you list sounds right.

there is a short delay after power up before the amp produces sound .. this is pretty common with amp general IME.

Walkabout is a great amp, hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine.
