New to me, sparkle StingRay5!!

I have wanted a black sparkle SR5 with a matching headstock for many years now. Have seen very few that werent maple, and I wanted rosewood. Anyway, got the chance on this one and couldnt pass it up. I have to say, the pics just dont do this one justice. Sounds quite amazing too!!!

Ive never liked the white pickup cover, but it kills on this bass. The pickguard is more aged white than white. Really quite stunning in real life.

I'm not much of a Music Man type-o'-guy, but I could absolutely see myself playing that bass. Great grab, and the matching headstock, white pickup cover, and white pearloid pickguard totally make the bass shine!

that color is called Sapphire Black from EBMM.
I ordered an SR4HH for a customer of mine w/ that finish & matching headstock, maple neck....too hot for words.

No dude, its black sparkle. from back when they did the sparkle finishes for a short run. Ive had a bunch of other sparkles ,to include a black sparkle StingRay and Ive also owned a sapphire black Ray, so I can tell you without question that its not sapphire black the difference is more marginal in person.
