New Traynor YBA 100!!

Nothing at L&M yet, but I imagine it'll still be a couple of weeks.Any confirmed sightings yet? Okay it's a little early, I just want to live vicariously through people with 100W tube amps
People are getting restless but there still is a definite ongoing need for ventilators so one can assume that is impacting the assembly process . I'd hope we can get a quasi firm date for these to start appearing in stores from senor Grapebass as soon as he has something relatively firm to relay . I know for us USA types - there is a rumored second stimulus check coming in late August / Sept - I am hoping to hand it over for one of these -sans any test trials or reviews as I have had very good results with my old days Traynor YBA's and I have faith ! .... The guy you mention { I believe } has had that ad up for a month or two at least - with a shifting delivery date so I am unsure how credible he is on the delivery front . He is the only USA dealer I've seen that offers a preorder though so perhaps that counts for something ..... One thing I don't recall being explained is how Traynor has managed to slim the weight down . It's just a guess but perhaps the transformer "iron " went on a diet .... Kelly
Thomann DID stock Traynor... I bought my YBA300 from them. Took AGES to get to me in Australia, and it'd been hashed around a good deal... but, it worked and after a quick tech trip, she was 100%

I guess that's mainly the result of the use of toroid transformers for mains and speaker.
Monday update - Parts are being assembled for the YBA100 and the YCV4050s are at final assembly, going through the gates of Final QC. Sorry for the sideway images, LOL

We've combined the pilot and first runs together so more will be available at the release! Not that there's gonna be a great quantity but it's better than the initial 50. My advise... preorder.
I still have my old Traynor YBA-2 and other then re-glassing it she is still rock solid. I probably played 100's of gigs with that thing. It does weigh a ton. The xfrmer is massive!
I am donating all of my old gear to my son's studio. It's all in storage right now so after COVID I am giving it to them. All of the new bands want to use the old gear so happy to see it still create music!
I hope the new Traynor's are as well built!

That looks mint. That’s a YBA-1A MkII is it not? Early ‘70’s?
This box was part of my teenage dream (I'm 63), this is one of the coolest amp I saw, I wish Traynor make a reissue of this one with 4 x 6l6 and modern eq but with the same cosmetic,dimension, wood box, bumper side, big toggle sw and jewel pilot light.

No, they do not. Trust me, I work at the factory. When production begins, I will post here.
If Long and McQuade have some in stock - it seems like we should be hearing very soon about them shipping from Grapebass or one of the factory guys on here . I haven't checked the guy on Reverb in a couple of days but hopefully he is next up for some here in the US . Can't wait to hear some of the first review from out in the field . Have much hope this is a great piece of gear .... Kelly
