New Traynor YBA 100!!

Haha I hear that man! I'm drumming these days and the 0300 load in trying not to wake the family is always amusing. I couldn't imagine trying to roll an 810 through the front door alone. I find the weight of the TC1150NEO perfect, but it's so dang awkward to carry like my old Orange PPC212. Too deep against my gut to fit sideways through a door, and too wide to fit straight through. Thankfully the handles are strong and I can do the vertical hold with one or two hands to get it through.
Perhaps you should ask Traynor to make you a cylindrical 115 cabinet. Then you could just roll the cabinet into the house...

@GrapeBass, I just want to extend my thanks to you and to Traynor/Yorkville for the work you've done to help out your fellow Canadians during these crazy times.

That being said, I'm very excited that production has commenced, and I'm very much looking forward to reports and demos when they finally hit the wilds.

I'm gassing hard for this amp!

Thanks!

I've been gassing for this amp too and I'm ecstatic to finally see it in production!

We've combined the pilot and first runs together so more will be available at the release! Not that there's gonna be a great quantity but it's better than the initial 50. My advise... preorder.
Think I'll wait for a year or two. Not that I'm all that young...but if I've learnt anything in the past 63 years, it is to wait until the beta testers (first couple hundred buyers) get the bugs ironed out.

AFAIK the EQ is the same as in the YBA300, So the YBA100 is the exactly as the YBA300 only with less power.

The Key Features on the web says: "3-Band tone controls with frequency selectable Mid control along with Deep, Bright, and Resonance tone switches."
The manual says: "Vintage passive Bass and Treble with a frequency adjustable Mid Control"

"Vintage passive" could mean a few different things... the Baxandall tone stack is a passive B/T control with boost and cut found on many vintage amps. But there is also the Fender style B/T which is boost only and also found on many vintage amps.

From Grapebass's picture - it looks like at least 36 to 40 amps assembled and one would presume ready for QC okay to roll on out the door into some very eager hands - no wonder he has suggested pre- ordering ! Timing is impeccably wrong for me now that the second stimulus check arrival date is so delayed [ assuming it even shows up at all ] but I can and will live vicariously as reports come in here ..... .....awaiting some reviews.....does it sound exactly like a smaller YBA 200? Can it produce a warm, low-mid chest thump for good articulation without much high end sizzle???? .....and fer loon's sake, why isn't there a Traynor branded bucket hat/beanie/ball cap with a li'l red maple leaf available FS on their web site? There'll be a new bass head in my not to distant future.......this one's in the semi-finals...........

It doesn’t have the 200 pre, it has the 300 pre so it will sound more like the 300. I’ll find out soon enough.
