Big mistake not using the usual red/white Ashdown logo. Other than that, I think these may fill a void in the market that Ampeg isn't filling anymore. I'm excited

Yep, Ashdown saw a void that Ampeg isn't filling anymore. People were clamoring for a 30w B-15 reissue and never got it. I'm set for a B-15 but I'll bet that Little Basstard will be very popular.

Couldn't have said it any better Jimmy. I really like market angle they are taking, but the not really digging these in looks department. They may grow on me, but hopefully they sound great.

I wish the Little Bastard had separate Gain and Volume controls.
The 427 Small Block looks cool, but will probably carry a ridiculous price tag.
The BTA series isn't that impressive, IMO. They use the same preamp from the ABM, which I never really dug. The EQ controls were nice, but I didn't like the Drive too much.

As a proud Ashdown owner I can only say... quite a bit less classy looking than previous designs. Some of the logos look like they took a cue from the Markbass school of design... which... who knows, i suppose that must appeal to someone.
And its really a shame that not all the amps have the classic Ashdown 7 band EQ. Mid shift wouldn't do me much good at all when I typically do all sorts of precision boosting and cutting with the 3 mid controls. That said I'd happily own most any of em.

Actually a closer look makes me want them all pretty bad. I can now sorta see more of the race-car inspiration in the chrome heads... and I suppose it is cool that the 427, spyder, and the Little Bastard have their own EQ section separate from the ABM's and the BTA series. It's not like you'd really need 6 more amps with the exact same EQ system as the existing several ABM's. Now i wanna hear em!
As something I could use for recording, and possibly as a guitar amp, I could put it to good use
And don't forget, 30 Watts of tubes is gonna be a fair bit louder than 30 Watts in solid state terms...
I'd love one of those Little B*stards!

not much point going for a front end overdriven sound with amps of that wattage, will be much nicer overdriving those el84s!
