I've played through this cab. Sounds great but it isn't light.

I like the casters on the back and magnetic grill cover. If I owned one I’d pull it around like a wagon

I like the form factor, the rolled grille edges are a nice touch. .....

I agree that It's a nice touch and looks good, BUT, I'd be worried about those edges getting Banged up at some point.

As careful as we try to be, there's always that possibility.

If we're being THAT picky, you're incorrect: a diagonal is a straight line. These tall 4x10 configurations are "offset" or "staggered". But in terms of cabinet design, they are effectively vertical.

A "true Diagonal" (Connect Four style) Is hilarious (In my head).

Just lean 2 against each other, Plop a Head on top. Perfect.

Talk about "general anti-tip over safety requirements".

I used two, 210 cabinets, almost always stacked as a vertical 410, for slightly over 19 years in almost every imaginable gigging situation from bad uneven poorly maintained stage floors to windy, outside open air stages, to just sheets of plywood thrown on the ground, to staggering band members who'd had to many adult beverages, ect.

Each cab has the interlocking plastic corners, each cab' s dimensions: 17.5" W. x 16.5" D. x 24.5" H. with 3" tall casters on the floor side of the bottom cab, total height when stacked vertically, 52".

Never once did it become unstable with the width and depth of those cabinets.

From a different perspective, I had a Shuttle 3.0 that came into the shop after the speaker stack fell over with the amp on top.

There are safety standards for tip-over, involving placing a defined lateral force at the top of the cabinet. Combos need to pass this test to qualify first regulatory compliance. With some combo designs, this is a very real challenge.

I have also seen it happen multiple times at shows over the years.

It's fine, until it isn't. I have definitely gigged on some janky stages where a tall skinny stack gave me pause.

agedhorse pointed out that I misused "effectively". I really meant "approximately".



And as for janky/uneven stages: over the years I've encountered a few where I placed cabs side by side rather than stacking them.

Here's a laugh:

Back in my retail days, we sold a lot of the JBL Cabaret bins, they were terrific. We laughed at those 610/double bullet tweet towers that were part of it until we tried them, and they were killer. So one day, we got a case of the 'What If 's and rigged two of them, one on either side of the 118 Cabaret, with a CS800 with the crossover plug inserted and a Yamaha preamp on top, and ran a bass through this biamp setup.

It was window rattling and sounded great.

We decided to never sell those for Bingo barns.
