Newbie Amp Questions! Recommendations?

I would agree the Rumble 40 or the Rumble 100 are get places to start.

The 8 inch won't produce low notes is horse s***.

I'm a big time gallien and Krueger guy but for a cheap bedroom Amp my recommendation will always be

Ampeg BA108V2 1x8 Bass Combo Amplifier

Sounds like an ampeg, you know, "that bass sound" the one most people think of when they think bass and can get louder than it has any business being for how small it is.

AND because of its monitor shape, you can angle it upward to your ears. I own everything from this particular Ampeg mentioned to multiple-speaker cabs and

Get a Rumble 100 if you can, Rumble 40 if you can't. As others have said, you can mess with the EQ if you like but Rumbles sounds great even without fiddling with the EQ settings. I've owned the 40, 100 and now own two 500s. They're all great.
