No kidding. Here I am, fixing complex avionics for the Navy (with a side of electrical engineering, when I'm not turning a wrench), and just barely making that much after 12 years!

$30+/hr for 30 months + shlepping packages around + cool shorts + potentially hot women interested in my "package" = sounds like my dream job!

I have seen Squier players kick it, as well Warwick players suck. As well as the other way around too.

He's not my usual UPS guy. The usual guy was by here this morning and apparently I wasn't home and just didn't know it, so they sent another guy out for delivery later in the day.

The world is full of insensitive people, which has nothing to do with class, gender, political and/or religious views... even IQ. I work with some very very smart folks, but they are truly stinky smelly hemorroidal roundholes... which makes them losers in the things that truly matter. You don't have to look hard for them; when you least expect it one of them just pops up to the surface.

Be happy that you were not him. Just smile and wave, dude, smile and wave.

I was having a conversation with the checkout lady at my grocery store, and she starts asking about my band... we talk for a minute or two, all good. As I go to leave, the kid bagging the groceries is like "what kind of bass do you play?"

Me: "Rickenbacker".

Kid: "Oh those are kinda cool, I play a Ken Smith."

He wasn't being condescending, and it was actually a fun little chat, but he caught me off guard.

Warwicks are actually baseball bats in disguise and a Squire is still not a Fender....either way I'd prefer to play the Squire, YET own the Warwick so I could sell it and then by a FENDER.

I've never played a Warwick that I liked, they do nothing for me. If the Warwick wasn't worth more on craigslist I would probably prefer the Squier!

every squire I have played has been killer, had a deluxe active jazz 5 i sold and regret it. the neck was so playable . I can't and don't however have anything good to say about a warwick rockbass corvette. i had two both with fret issues and neck problems sent them both back...
