The painfull thing for me is that even though Chunk are in Sydney, im sure the Aussie price will be even higher than the US and i'll have to get one from the other side of the world....again...

600 is pretty steep. i don't think it will be replacing people octavers and envelope filters either.
i've never been impressed (korg g5 and EHX BMS have filters, and they suck) with the envelope filters on synths. I like them for synth, not for filter.
