Seems like Godlyke's street prices are always higher than other dealers (just look at their Maxon prices!). Anyone know if other chunk systems dealers will have them cheaper?
well musician's friend has the 00funk listed at 262.50 and godlyke has it 275....
so I'm still looking at an arm and a leg for that synth

I was interested in this unit but not for $500+. Too much for an effect IMO. They priced me out of contention.
Too much for half a dozen high quality analogue effects?
Unfortunately I think it suffers from the same thing that stops me buying other multis - they don't look like good value unless you like all the effects.
Well it is designed for the range of basses so I think that them releasing a pedal with bad tracking on bass would just be silly.
i know. im just trying to convince myself not to buy it, after recently getting a G5..but in reality, i love my G5, it sounds awesome. this thing definately has more capabilities, but really all the synth stuff i need the G5 has it covered. octavius can just get a lot weirder, with the time-locked effects and such..
If the G5 gets all the synth sounds you want/need then why throw down 500$ on another synth pedal?
Well after the samples, I'll say it is cool. And for what it does in the size it is, and the sound quality I know of the from 00Funk I can say it is worth the cost, if, you like the sounds it gets and need it in a small package.
On the other hand, I have yet to really build up much interest in any of the synth pedals out there. I don't need those sounds live and I prefer to do my own combos of FXs to create my own synth sounds. So I'm going to build a really big board with all the pedals in a patchbay.

It looks like it does, and I hope it does, but is this capable of everything that the 00Funk filter does; as far a control parameters and sounds?
Yeah it's got the 00Funk circuit inside it and control over all the same params (they're counted off in a post earlier in the thread).
Thanks for that. I knew they used the same circuit, but was concerned they might leave out certain control parameters, leaving the bass synth's envel. filter obsolete compared to the 00funk mark 2. I assume then they follwed suit with the fuzz and brown dog then?
The fuzz is the Brown Dog circuit. And yep, according to earlier posts, all the parameters for both pedals are included
