Hmmmm. I'm not so sure those are the types of sounds that would be useful to me. I'd like to hear just the octave soloed.

Yeah, you have to use your imagination as to what the thing would would sound like in a live band setting.
I think the "sounds" are as good as most stuff out there. It boils down to how "user friendly" the unit is.
Out of all of those samples, my favorite is "Octofuzz". As for using this pedal live, I would want to blend some clean signal with the effect. The Octavius probably has this feature, no? If not, a Barge VB Jr is in order.
Anyway, as with most products, sound samples and factory presets are just something to whet your appetite. Chunk systems has touted this thing as having LOTS of sounds and flexibility. What does everyone else think?

I don't hear anything different than a Fuzz, envelope, and octaves together. I don't hear "and other effects" as they stated....
