News on Chunk Systems Bass Synth

Mine just arrived- much earlier than I thought it would. Hopefully I'll still be able to get clips up today, but it'll depend as I'm working (didn't expect it to get here 'til Friday).

I am officially confused as to making the envelope filter operate now :D I can get it to activate (open/close) when I dime the mid knob on my active EQ, but without adding any EQ (or by switching to passive mode), I can't get it to activate no matter what Tracking sens. or VCF sens. I give it. Can anyone clue me in as to what I'm doing wrong?

This is not good...

EDIT: I've figured out what's going on, there was just an error in communication between the Post Office and Au post and the post office actually says it's awaiting custom charges from me so I'll be getting the letter soon :(. It means I'm going to have to pay about £50.

Hey man, I'm in a similar situation to yourself, how did you find out about the custom charges? Just phone Royal Mail?

cheers

I went on the Post office website then put in my tracking number (make sure you tick the box saying 'receiving internationally' or whatever it says) then it said 'Awaiting custom charges' so I assume i'll be getting the letter in the post in the next come of days then you take the money and the letter down to your nearest main post office and can pick the parcel up from there.

Cheers man, turns out mine's at the the local depot so I'll have to go and pay the customs fee. Nevermind, to be expected I guess.

Updated the firmware to 1.003 too.

Afterwards I tried to copy/paste the 10 first patches to other locations to use locations 0 to 9 for my own sounds.
I can't seem to save any changes to the effects :eyebrow: (I don't know if it worked under 1.002, as I got the OS yesterday and never tried)
Yes, I read the manual.

So I did a "Reset all". Now all presets are lost :crying::crying::crying:

I hope the Chunk people come to my rescue. Just sent them an email.:help:

I remember reading somewhere along here, about someone who did the same thing and got a firmware file by Richard C. to rescue /reset the original presets....

This is not exactly apropos but maybe it's worth sharing somewhere. I sent Richard (Chunk Systems mastermind) an email about features and my 'wishlist' items for the OS a while back. It was probably obvious from my message that I was curious about the OS but not going to buy one myself. Not only did he respond immediately to my email, but he responded at length and in technical detail about the design choices behind the OS. My takeaway from the exchange is that he has great customer service and puts a lot of thought into his pedals. I am debating between his fuzz and a couple others.
