Thankfully I recently got to a day job and things are looking up [slowly].

it should be at work this coming week or next... most likely you'll see it when I do.

After the first time I played one up at Brian's and during a few NAMM's, I was sold on it... so, start saving up and get ready.

Thanks Scott, Brad and JT... Yeah, I can't wait to play it either. Chris called me Wednesday to get a little more info and see which bag I wanted... So it should be any day next week.

Sorry I would have posted this sooner, but last week was very busy.

here are some pix of my new SCD6:

The 19mm spacing is great, I have it on my 4's and my Nordy 5'ver and I love it. As many of you might know, I'm not much of a 'bass reviewer', but I'll tell you that this bass exceeds what I was looking for! Eventhough the Bennie Pre is great, I actually like the bass completely passive (Vol/Vol). The natural sound of the instrument is very impressive and even up-plugged it rings out like a bell.

I'll have more to report once I have it out on a gig, but that's enough for right now.

This is a 6 that I picked up from The Low End. It is a beautiful finish, somewhat more figured that the Koa. I like it especially because it is matched front and back. I have never seen anything like it.
