NFL 2018 Week #3

He was a hell of a man, in all aspects.
My father met him a couple of times through his job (airline pilot, flew through Chicago a lot), and said he was one of the nicest, most thoughtful and kind people he has ever met.
There are a few really class individuals in the NFL, and Walter Payton was a first among equals in that respect.
To show the kind of person he was, both in intelligence and in thoughtfulness - he remembered my dad's name, after meeting him one time, and used it to greet him each time they met.

I think you two have more faith in the Pats than most Pats fans do (myself included). They don't often lose twice in a row and never in as ugly a fashion as these two past games. A loss to Miami will induce widespread panic. While the Pats often look unfinished in the beginning of the year, you can see them get better from week to week. Right now, they are getting worse from week to week.

As a Nashvillian (I have been too embarrassed to call myself a Titans fan over the last decade), I am still picking up my jaw from the floor. We've won two games. Holy cow! We might get back to the glory days of 8-8 seasons under Fisher!

I feel like it's reverse psychology on the part of Pat's fans. Perhaps even the George Costanza effect.

When you have someone like Ben, who has historically taken a beating and questioned why it isn't called more often, feeling like it is out of control now, then it completely and absolutely is.

You, Mike and Greg were right and I was wrong (not the first time and I am certain not the last time). Thank God I am not a betting man, because Dolphins plus 6.5 was looking very attractive to me.
