Compelled to testify under a state law passed last Sept. 1, Felicia Moon, 39, took the stand on three of the trial's eight days and told jurors she was at fault for an altercation with her husband at their nearby Missouri City home last July 18 that left scratches and bruises on her face, neck, back and leg. She said she threw a candle holder at Moon and kneed him in the groin during an argument over credit cards. Her wounds, she said, were the result of her husband trying to "restrain" her. Moon said the same thing in his testimony Wednesday and today.

He was acquitted.

The DUI he blew two tests, one a .68 the other a .67. Both under the legal limit of .80. He was stopped for "issues with his driving".

I dunno about the Metoo allegation levied against him in Seattle. I just know that handsome rich men are all involved. Allegations are well and good. But are they true?

Not for me to say.

I enjoyed watching him play and listening to him call games. It was disappointing to read of the off the field problems. I'm sure it got more coverage in Seattle than elsewhere.

Interesting, Mike. I hadn't kept up with the Panthers, I thought Allen had established himself as the guy. Grier is talented, but he's obviously had issues. I guess he'll be playing vs. Jacoby Brissett, another Gator transfer.

you mean championship wins? I think that's important but kinda like what Greg said, it's hard to compare across eras. The game has evolved. Greatest of all time? I would've said it's Era dependent but geez what Brady has done, you would have a real hard time convincing me otherwise.

Two reasons for disbelief:

1. Any team would believe he won't reoffend.
2. That he continues to do the same things and somehow thinks he won't get caught.

Jury is out on whether 1 or 2 is greater proof of insanity or maybe just stupidity.

so many people in that dude's corner and he just keeps letting them down. He should just be lifetime banned at this point, but Goodell doesn't have the cahonays.

After losing four in a row and not making the playoffs for nearly two decades, they're holding on to any hope possible.

Did I mention that I have zero interest in football?? It's just that anytime the Bills win, this side of the state goes nuts and every news outlet suddenly claims to be the headquarters for the Bills.

And again...... as I have zero interest in football, what I find amazing is how the Bills at 9 or 10 wins can only be a wildcard while the Cowboys with a dismal record can be on top of their division with a guaranteed spot in the playoffs.

How about we take the teams with the best records and let them duke it out for the big game??

The Giants take a stand and release a player for being a jerk. A couple days later, along come the Saints and sign him. That's a bummer.

I have to say after last night's game that I believe I just witnessed the most perfect quarterback performance I have ever seen. Brees was an absolute completion machine, and at 40 still has so much life in his vision, feet, and arm. I've seen a lot of great quarterbacks over the years, but in my book I doubt very much that I will ever see a better one. It helps that he's also a classy guy and a great role model for anyone who appreciates what a skilled athlete can become. That performance was simply magnificent...glad I stayed up to watch.
