Vike at Pack

Home o'pner, Vike/Pack, fall football in GB. Does not get any better. 3 main concerns for the Pack: Vike D, Dalvin Cook and Adam Theilen. This will be a true test for the remade Packer's D. I do not fear Cousins. But Aaron needs to get it going. Period. Too close to call but homer says:

Pack 24
Vike 21

We are slacking! The Seahawks play the Steelers. I can't even dredge up the motivation to whine about pass interference and referees and all that any more.

Beats me what to think of that game. Neither team played all that well last week. The Seahawks won and the Steelers got stomped, but aside from that, it was the first week. Plus, the opponents were somewhat different quality. I don't expect it to be a great game. If the Seahawks get out of Pittsburgh with a win for the first time in eons, it's good. For me, maybe not for Mike.

ESPN announced they are bringing back Chris Berman and Tom Jackson for NFL Primetime. Those two together were awesome back in the day. I think I loved watching Primetime more than watching the games. It was the highlight for me and my buddies of Sunday night. Then Sunday night football came along and ruined that.
I was excited at first, until I found out it's some streaming show on ESPN+. I don't know about others, but ESPN has made things confusing to me with all their channels and now this web based offering.

The answer is

No.

Why, oh WHY didn't they run a play instead of spiking the ball into 4th down? A QB sneak or, I don't know, BIG ASS DERRIK HENRY could have gotten a few yards.

All apologies to Lamar Jackson. That bomb, on the money. That's a legit arm talent pass.

I’d watch it if they had Luke Falk starting instead of backing up. More Coug QBs make life and football better.
Chargers fans may disagree.:D

A friend who was watching sent me the same text several times during the game: "WTH Vinatieri?"

Surprisingly, the Cardinals made a game of it, only to fall short again. But they have a notorious history of absolutely stinking up the place anytime they go into the Eastern time zone and play an early game, so a respectable score is somewhat acceptable ;). Honestly, I thought Baltimore ran all over them, dominating on both sides of the ball, but the Cards kept pecking away, making the score closer than most of us would have imagined. Especially after the way the Ravens obliterated Miami the previous week! (Poor Dolphins...outscored 10-102 after only two games. :vomit:)

Seattle wins in Pittsburgh by at least 21.
There is zero defense for the Steelers.

You got one digit right. The Seahawks outgained the Steelers by about 2:1, but did their best to hand over the game. They didn't, but that sure was ugly.

I probably won't watch tonight, but I'm curious to see what Cleveland shows up with.

Bree's having surgery, out 6 weeks... The entire landscape is changed. I think the front offices are being given a reality check ( With Big Ben still a question mark right now ). Sooner than later they need replacements in place.

Teddy is an excellent insurance policy.
