Bree's having surgery, out 6 weeks... The entire landscape is changed. I think the front offices are being given a reality check ( With Big Ben still a question mark right now ). Sooner than later they need replacements in place.

Six weeks sounds too short a time for the type of injury he has. Wouldn't be surprised to see this go double that at all. Especially in his throwing hand.

His numbers are alright. They're 0-2, I doubt the fans are doing cartwheels.

Seahawks got lucky. They play NO next week in Seattle. Teddy will settle in quickly and the Saints won't miss too many beats. But, better to catch the Saints before he's 100% settled in, if that's possible with a guy like him.

That's pretty close to 50th percentile. Not quite. But, it means almost half of NFL QBs are worse than he is. Not bad for a guy whose draft stock was pretty low.

Bad news/good news....

The Colorado State Rams just lost their starting QB for the season with his THIRD ACL tear in his left knee. Defender fell into him at exactly the right angle. After a miserable season last year, CSU needed his leadership, and I wouldn't wich that much rehab on anyone!!

Good news: this week, both the Jaguars (Gardner Minshew II, aka: the Mississippi Moustache) and Jets (Luke Falk) will be starting Washington State QBs. Interesting statistical anomaly when two QBs, both of whom own PAC-12 passing records, started the season as backups (Falk was put on practice squad) and within two weeks, both are starting.

I dropped my NFL Sunday ticket and moved to DISH, but the Jags game will be on Thursday night, giving me a very, very rare reason to watch Thursday night football.
