Signature win for the Rams, especially with all of the players out for last night’s game. Stafford has been around for a while but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him on a team this balanced. He made some ridiculous throws last night, and the defense showed up when it had to.

What we'd do as well was use a marker to draw the player numbers on a t-shirt, then we'd tear the foot part off the sock off and use the tube top as sleeves for our homemade jersey.
I went through a stretch where Paul Coffman and John Jefferson from the Packers were my favorite players. I found some socks at Woolworth (rode my bike there with my buddies, then rode home excited to tell my mom what I found) with green stripes on them and convinced my mom I needed new socks. Boy was she sore at me when she found out what I did to those socks.
It was worth it though, I was John Jefferson now!!! :)

Growing up, I wanted to be Jerry Kramer or Dick Butkus. I mentioned Dick Butkus as a childhood hero to some younger friends who hadn't heard of him, and his name made their eyebrows go up. It was pretty funny.

He was briefly made popular again by Beavis & Butthead. Some from that generation will remember the name likely from that episode.

Yikes. Here's hoping the Cardinals don't pull a similar stunt to what the Steelers did last year. Pittsburgh went 11-0 then lost four of their last five. Like to see the Cards get back to firing on all cylinders before the playoffs. We could use some post-season optimism here in the desert for a change.

I had an early gig, and by the time I got home it was in the 3rd quarter and I tuned in just in time to see Hopkins inexplicably drop that ball inside the 5. Had he caught that, I think it would have been a much different game.

Edit: Also, Kooper Cupp is a beast. I hadn't had a chance to see him play yet this year, but wow. Connor, too. He was in full beast mode last night.

Seems like the Browns starters are going to be in COVID protocol by the weekend. The head coach is out with it and I don't know who all else. The Rams are getting hit as well. What a mess!
Cases are going up all around sports. The Chicago Bulls were up to about 8 players (plus two announcers) in protocols the other day, and the NBA finally decided to cancel a couple of their games.

Yeah, that’ll happen when you play contact sports in the middle of a pandemic. Who knew?

Ohio is cooking right now and Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) has the second highest case rates in the state.

Former Jaguar Lambo alleges Meyer kicked him
I got kicked/hit like that a few times when I was playing football. I never took it personal. Should I have?
I know Urban has made his fair share of dumb moves as a coach, but this feels now like a campaign to run him out of Jacksonville.

I had a coach that would come up behind us linemen at practice and kick us in the butt. Then he'd say, "Didn't that jar your brains?!" I just thought that was part of playing football. Of course kicking a place kicker in the leg is a bit different...
