Same here. Thankfully the Steelers declined his fifth year option, so he'll be a free agent after this season. I figured he'd be playing for a contract and up his game this season, but nope it's the same unimpressive Najee. He loves to hurdle though.
He's never really struck me as a football player. For sure he has football skills and is an athlete, but it just seems like he's not into the game

I think that was true of some of their previous games. In this one, they mounted drive after drive--they only punted once and never gave it up on downs--but had some bad breaks or mucked up at just the wrong time--missed field goal, Juju dropping a pass that turned into an end zone INT, etc. At one point early in the fourth, they had twice as many yards as the Saints but were up only three points. Eventually, everything went right for them.
Dad Archie was the Q4 guest on the Manningcast; that was fun/nice. He shared some great stories and insights about his time playing.
Odd bit of trivia for those who may not have caught this part of the regular telecast: Saunders has a brother who happens to be a backup dancer for Taylor Swift. I was watching Manningcast.
I really enjoy the Manningcasts.
Worthy running over to give his touchdown ball to his mother on her birthday was really a great moment.
Oh no, they went on about it on the regular broadcast too. Not something I care at all about, but apparently all the kids who watch MNF do, so they mention it. Me, I just want to watch a football game and talk about the people playing the game, on the field.

Such a shame to waste the talents of players like Cam, TJ, and Highsmith. TJ has no idea what it feels like to win an NFL playoff game. Sad.

Mayo is putting his job on the line starting Maye. It probably was anyway with the rough last few weeks, but he's going all in now. We'll see if he makes it to the bye.

Doesn't seem like a great idea for Maye to face the Texans in his first real NFL game. They have a good defense and they blitz a lot.
I would be surprised if Mayo is on the hot seat already. He's only five games in, and was given a crappy roster.
They have a great defense for sure. I like Drake Maye and he was my QB draft wish but the Pats can't protect him.
Although to be fair, the Texans had some holes in their front 5 and that's how my Falcons beat the Texans last year. Maye is athletic and he is a big guy so he might come out of this OK. But there is always a learning curve. Preseason speed and starter speed aren't the same thing.
It's really the only way I watch anymore unless it's a Bears game or something (and even then . . . ). Now the addition of BB this year has been kind of a miss for me. Love him or hate him (and I don't want to go there) he's extremely knowledgeable but he's not a good fit for the show, IMO (though the Cincinnati bit this week was good). Now the other week when Matt Ryan was a guest that was gold - 3 QB's with deep experience analyzing the plays in real time, it was great.
But yeah I find the Manningcasts make MNF more fun and miss them when they go dark for some games.
In addition to being OK with Pickens' effort, Tomlin had this to say about the choice of eye black Mr. Pickens used on Sunday:
"I don't know what messaging you're talking about regarding his eye black," Tomlin said.

I'm no scholar, and I have never coached an NFL team to a non losing season, but it's quite obvious to this dope the messaging Mr. Pickens is sending here.
