I tried to tell you Steelers fans what was coming your way when y’all hired Arthur Smith as OC.
This isn’t a fluke. Pickens isn’t having a dry spell. This is what Artie do.
Since Art Smith started calling plays Pittsburgh O is:
Pass ypg: 29th in NFL
Rush yads/att: 28th
Yds/play: 28th
Offensive TD: 32nd
Red zone td %: 32nd
I hope you can find a way to resolve your Art Smith problem. I’m so excited he’s not my Falcons problem anymore. Good luck.

Whoever did the schedule this year sure compressed the Seahawks over the last three weeks. So it goes. Geno better be on it, because the defense is a broken sieve right now. I'm not sure how many they are missing at the moment. It's a lot. The Niners don't have McCaffrey, but it probably won't matter.
I resist the idea of Thursday night football, as the sport already takes up Friday through Monday. But since it's the Seahawks I may watch.

I think the Niners will whup on them. Not that it's what I want to see happen, but it's what I expect. The Seahawk defense is depleted to the point they won't be able to contain a bucket of warm Budweiser, let alone an NFL offense.
The Jets fired their head coach, Robert Saleh, the other day. Then they demoted OC Nathaniel Hackett, former Broncos head coach and alleged Rodgers whisperer, by taking playcalling away from him. Hackett is still OC while the plays are going to be called by the QB coach/passing game coordinator, Al Downing. Does Rodgers take any accountability for these changes, which he surely signed off on? Haha, right.
The Jets probably need to run more. Rodgers is #4 in pass attempts per game, and #21 in quarterback rating. But given the changes that were just made, that probably ain't happening.
My Dolphins are off this week. They're basically in a holding pattern until Tua comes off the injured list in two weeks and figures out his future. I hope he retires for the sake of his health, but we shall see.

I finally got to see my first Bears game since week 2. I’m excited about Williams’ progress, and the offense improving generally, partly because it looks like they’ve got both QB and offensive coordinator figured out. With the defense already firing on all cylinders, they could be good for a while.
But people need to slow down on the playoffs talk. They haven’t beaten anyone good yet, and they’re in a division with nothing but good teams. I’m hoping they’re like Detroit from a couple years back, when they finally learned how to be a good team, meaning they make you beat them instead of letting you beat them.
Even then, the Bears have a weak O-line. They’re at least 2 linemen away from fixing it. If they do that, maybe they can even make the leap from making good teams beat them to stopping good teams consistently.

Yeah, my friends who root for the Bears are taking this early success with a truckload of salt. Caleb is clearly progressing and they're 4-2, but their wins are against 4 teams with a combined record of 4-18. The Commanders should be a good test. But even after that they play the hapless Patriots and Cards before getting into the meat of their schedule. I hope they do well, but making the playoffs this year seems unlikely. Maybe if they have a good offseason, they can get there in '25.
Didn't Jameis also jump up on top of a table in the college cafeteria and "invite" everybody to, "Suck my ####!" Real classy, Jameis, real classy...

I've been to a handful of NFL games in Cleveland, the atmosphere is awesome. I can never in a million years ever imagine settling down in a cozy warm seat in a dome to do so.
