Deshaun Watson looks to be done for the season with an Achilles tear.
My guess is he never takes another snap and just chills and collects a paycheck. I can't feel a bit sorry for the Browns reaping what they sowed.

Tomlin is such a dope. Use your timeouts before the half. The D is hyped, the crowd is crazy, momentum is on your side. At least make the Jets run plays deep in their own territory and give the D a chance to make another play.

Raider fan here. I almost bought an NFL package this year. I did not. It normally takes more games than this to hope for all losses and a chance to snag a QB without giving it all up. I somehow still think the Raiders will waste picks to trade up and then take someone with behavioral problems. Someone...
Steelers still won handily, though. And Russ outplayed Rodgers by a good bit (although that's not saying a lot these days, haha).

I went to bed at halftime of the Steelers game, but watching Wilson was interesting. Collinsworth’s explanation of Wilson’s “moon balls” was something that took me back to the old days of football, and there’s something to it. While the rocket balls that sting the receivers’ hands that Allen/Stafford/Favre et. al exemplify are impressive and very useful in certain circumstances, there is also an art to dropping a ball in/over rather than through, and Russ hit two prime examples of those in the first half.
Wilson started a bit shaky, which seems to fit right in with this year's Steelers, then did well. Well enough to keep the job, anyway. They are going to miss Fields' running though. We'll see how this plays out against better competition.

Agreed on Wilson. Considering he hasn't played a game in nearly a year, he did fine after a few series.
You're spot on about the running. There were a few times in that game the Wilson from 10 years ago and the Fields from today would've took off running, yet Wilson stood there waiting for something to happen. The red zone performance was not good.
They have maybe one more easy game, next week against the Giants, then Tomlin's quest to not finish under 500 will be put to the test.

So now that the Jets have hired pretty much everyone AA Ron told them to hire and fired everyone he told them to fire, I mean definitely did NOT tell them to fire it just all kinda happened organically like totally on its own, who is he going to find to blame now?

I sure enjoyed Tirico poking fun at him last night about beanie baby's after Beanie Bishop picked him off twice, although the second one was more of a gift than Bishop playing good DB.

I wouldn’t rule out the Lions, not that Packers are bad. Then there is a third member of their division, those Vikings that kill them both off. Tough division for sure.
I’ve been a Steeler fan since 1963, and even if they bump of the Giants having a 6-2 record, and as good as their defense had played to date, the remaining schedule is a suicide mission (Thank you NFL) and should make for good ratings on next years Hard Knocks show.
Yep, the Steelers missed their chance to beat up on the Bengals when they were playing not so good. Now, I'm not so sure they will win either game. Both Ravens games are losses, and Tomlin has a knack for losing games they should win, like to the Browns. It's gonna be close for Mr. Never Under 500.

The Ravens are the same story every year. They are so good the Steelers don't have a chance. But, since 2020 the series has gone 7-1 in favor of the Steelers. This is with Canada and the rest of the crap-show in Pittsburgh. Where they are right now, I'd be surprised if they don't at least split. They should sweep the Browns, but yeah, I can see Tomlin and company looking past them and getting bitten. I don't know what's up with the Bengals, but I'll go out on a limb and say they split.
