I guess beating the Steelers and Bengals and getting Garrett the sack record this week wasn't enough to save Stefanski.

Browns fire coach Stefanski, will keep GM Berry
19 head coaches in 26 seasons. That is a pretty good indication the issue isn’t coaches. Blaming Stephaski for the Watson debacle which hamstrung the team, in particular the quality of their depth, is a bush league response.

Interesting that NBC flashed over to Tomlin at the end of the game thumping his chest like he actually did anything to win that game. You didn't win that game buddy, Baltimore lost it.
Be thankful Lamar Jackson was playing injured, their best DB was on the sidelines injured, and a rookie kicker missed what some consider a gimmee. I don't like Baltimore and I am glad they lost, but there's not much to actually be excited about as a Steeler fan. Houston next Monday, with the best defense in the NFL. You think they're going to give Rodgers 45 seconds in the pocket to stand around and look for someone to throw to?

The Steelers have won 23 straight MNF home games. DK will be back. Cam was a man on a mission last night. TJ is back and played hard. Aaron played his best game of the season. They should have a chance, but....

Totally agree. Stepping back from it all with calmer emotions this morning as a Steelers fan, they REALLY should have lost that game if nothing else from Boz's missed FG. It was fun and chaotic to be caught in the excitement last night but I feel like Boz really should be in Loop's shoes today.

I'd take Boswell out of the equation and roll it back to the two seconds before half. Tomlin lost the game when he decided to try to score a TD instead of taking the FG. They got the ball to start the second half where they could have then taken the lead. That was such a simple football decision, but this is Tomlin so it didn't surprise me.
Thankfully for Steelers fans, Loop lost the game Tomlin lost.

Fruit Loops. Steeler nation should send him boxes of Fruit Loops.

Missing a 40 yarder in crunch time is the definition of a kickers job. In the words of kids naw-a-days "He's not HIM."

I don't like that move. Stefanski wasn't the reason the Browns have had a screwed up roster forever. He didn't send Mayfield packing after the Brown's first playoff appearance in forever. He's not the guy who drafted two quarterbacks but didn't put together a line to protect any quarterbacks. And he's not the idiot who did the Watson deal. Oh, well.

Thinking about the Seahawks Niners game. The Seattle defense absolutely won that one. The offense shot itself in the foot repeatedly. There were some really big plays, but Darnold sure got lucky a couple times, too. Purdy didn't get lucky. If the Seattle offense cannot finish things off any better than they did, the Seahawks won't last long, even with that defense.

110% agree.
You got a scumbag owner there who appears to hire and fire people because it's something to do, perhaps some kind of power trip. He definitely knows nothing about football and money is no object.

I thought, “Does Tomlin actually think the Steelers won that game?” He should have been wiping the sweat off his brow and perhaps changing his britches because Baltimore gave that game to him.
If I were him I’d be concerned that even with all the negatives Baltimore was dealing with they we in control of the game.
Tomlin has lead a charmed life as the coach of the Steelers, but it’s the same thing every year and he continues to hang around. With zero actual improvement year-to-year other owners would have pushed him out the door before now.

Possible. The coaching carousel has always amazed me in all sports. X number of coaches fail and get fired. Most of them just move to one of the other teams. Then most all of them fail again. Duh!!!!!!
I read Harbaugh's agent received interest from seven teams within 45 minutes of his firing. Pretty sure he's savvy enough not to get involved in Haslam's mess in Cleveland, although that idiot may make him a ridiculous offer he can't refuse.
