I think you need to pull a Limbaugh and start having a count of the number of days under seige Kitty fans are from the Ford family.

I'll give Colston props. He's been very good so far this year, and has a huge upside, but to compare him to a sure fire Hall of Famer after his first 8 games is ludicrous.

Note that I only said he was good for a rookie at running routes. Given 7+ years together, Brees and Colston might begin to be able to do what Manning and Harrison have all but mastered.

I thought I would at least get some kind of recognition from Gard in his post after we both went toe to toe earlier in the week. I even acknowledged him, and said I would root for his team next week. :rollno:

You guys were beat by the better team. It's probably too early in the week for you to admit it fully.

One more thing.....you guys DID fold. You were up by seven, with a chokehold on the Steelers. There was no way the Steelers should have gotten up off the turf and threw another 21 points on the board. It's all about the winning mentality, something the Saints players haven't mastered quite yet. I am sure they will soon enough.

Agreed, the Saints folded in the 2nd half.

Better team? No. The team that played better that day, yes.

Actually, I'm a Steelers fan - and root for them every time, except when they play the Saints! I really appreciate the "grunt" mentality of the team. They're not a bunch of nancyboys like say...the Rams of the early '00's...real smashmouth ballplayers. I dig 'em.

I got your back, Mike, and am hoping to see the Steelers do the unthinkable, make the playoffs after starting 2-6. I just wish they hadn't started their "run" against my team!

Thanks buddy. We appreciate your support. Just so you know, I go back to the mid-80's as a closet Saints fan. When I was growing up, everything around me was Steelers, and they were good. I remember watching this other team, with colors almost the same as ours, but they weren't very good. My uncle told me about the Saints, and I liked them from day one. I remember Hebert and that flying plane thing he would do after throwing a TD. :D

Look at it this way, the Saints can afford to lose that game. Like you mentioned, you guys are still in first place. If Pittsburgh had lost, the season is over for us.

I am going to break out my old Sam Mills jersey this weekend and put it on for the Bungles game. I hope you guys obliterate Chad Johnson and his buddies off the field.

BTW....I'll be back in Nawlins in February. Hopefully youn'z will be celebrating your NFC Championship, and a tough loss to the Steelers in SB XLI. :D

Man, what an ugly game last night... the Bucs really did have it in their hands in the first half... I dunno about Gradkowski, he was really off on the deep ball. I guess that's typical rookie stuff, not having that coordination with you receivers. But Carolina put themselves in a hole... where's Woodchuck to gloat about the Prancers win when you need him?

I won't give up my hopes for a return to the SB until the Steelers are officially eliminated. I know it is a bigger hole this year, but everyone wrote us off last year too.

I'd really like to cheer for the Bears, but it's "cool" to be a Saints fan this year. :D
