NFL Week #10

I am hoping the Packer pass D will tighten up a bit more for this match and also have a better pass rush, but A-rod and company will again put up mega points, on MNF. Ponder seems to be a good rookie QB but will most likely end up throwing a couple pics. Pack will be 9-0 after this game.

Packers 41
Vikers 27

Go Pack Go!

I can say with certainty that the Titans will lose. Rookie QB's have their number.

Along with verterans and has-beens. Hmmm never gonna be's and Punters trying to be QB's too. I think they lost to the peanuts in a bag throwing guy once. Chris Johnson was tackled by the shadow of the 20 yard line a few weeks ago.

( reverse psychology in action . . . )

I kind of think of this as a must win for 9ers...

I mean, sure, even if they don't they will probably make playoffs. But I feel that if they don't beat giants/steelers/ravens in regular season, they won't go far into playoffs...

This. I think we can do it. Eli manning is definitely the better QB, but SF is finding ways to just win. By any means necessary.

We are 7-1. We have 5 NFCW games left. There is a high likelihood of sweeping the division, meaning at worst we would be 12-4.

That might be good enough for a first round bye.

Could be a fight with Pack and Saints for home field throughout

The Saints need to play with some CONSISTENCY before we start talking about anything like home field advantages. They have the talent necessary to go toe-to-toe with anyone in the NFL, on the days that they show up and play football...but then they can go into Tampa and play flat, or not even show up in St. Louis, and if you do that against an NFL team, ANY NFL team, they will beat you.

I am waiting to see how they show themselves in Atlanta this coming weekend before I start getting worked up about a post season. If they go play SAINTS FOOTBALL, they'll win, and I think that gives them the inside track to at least winning their division, which gets them at least one home game...if they lose this one, it will be a struggle to get the wild card.

It's so hard as an Eagles fan to predict how a game will go because we've been so damn inconsistent this year. We've had flashes of greatness interspersed in a sea of suck. Any hopes of reaching the playoffs are pretty much done; we MIGHT only be able to afford to lose one more game, and that's if the rest of the division sucks the big one for the rest of the season, which ain't gonna happen. The Giants are on a tear, and we're quickly becoming buddies with Washington at the bottom of the division. At this point it's pretty evident we have little to no chemistry, and that's probably the biggest problem of all. We still have a tough schedule ahead of us. At this point I'm just hoping we finish at .500.

Arizona, in Philly? Could go either way. The thing is there's two Philadelphia Eagles right now- the explosive offense and shut-down defense of last Sunday against Dallas, and the weak defense and rushed-Vick offense of Monday. Depends on who shows up.

Bills on the road in Dallas. Again, going to depend on which of each team shows up, and if the other Ryan brother will stack the box to shut down the screen as effectively as SexyRexy.

Then again, Cowgirl's run defense sucks and they don't have Revis, so we could very likely just pound it down their throats all day.

San Diego has had a rough, I would venture to say, unfair schedule last couple weeks, playing on Monday night two games ago, then a somewhat short week losing to the Pack last Sunday, then another very short week playing last night. But I'd say Rivers really only looked good in the Packer game. Didn't think Palmer would look decent but he surprised me.

It's like I'm talking to myself here.

The Pack has a "San Diego'esque" run here coming up itself with 3 games in 11 days, Monday against Vike, Sunday vs. Tampa, then Turkey Day vs Lions. It would be easy to sit here and say, given that stretch, the Pack could find itself losing its first game, especially with Turkey Day being in the Ford domw.

Excellent analysis Mrpackerguy...the best I've seen all season!

I would like to mention that I had the priviledge of going to a Cowboys game sunday...

Friend had tickets ... asked if I'd go ... said it was tickets to a "box" I didn't think much of it until we got there. 3rd level boxes... free food, free beer, awesome leather cushy seats ... lots of room... I even got a free shirt. but... the best part was ... i didn't have to move the whole time if I didn't want to ... there was a server lady asking if we needed another beer and taking empties away ...

guess what they announced at halftime ...

"There's pizza back here if you want a slice!!!"

This expierence is way up on the list far as awesomeness ... I'm seriously considering making it a yearly event and I'm not even really into football that much... it was the expierence! Food, Beer, Entertainment with one of my best buddies ... can't much better than that!

I'm not sure how much Mr. Jones had to do with my expierence ... but the people he employed that had this vision ... i got to give credit where credit is due. Friggin Outstanding!
