NFL Week #13

Steelers roll into Baltimore, and roll out losers. I don't see how these guys can put it together for 60 minutes to beat a solid Ravens team. But hey, I sure hope I am wrong.

This week, there aren't any games on the schedule that would motivate me to change my plans to make sure and watch. Maybe Jets and Patriots, but not really.

Pretty much took what I was going to say. We might put up a fight, but we'll probably end up giving up a lot of penalty yards again (hm, wonder why that is ) which will give the Ravens some nice opportunities. Solid effort from us for at least the first half, but I see us losing by 2 scores.

Pack 31
San Fran 17

Singletary fired Monday morning

I agree with the 31 points for the Packers. I don't think SF will get much more than a field goal or two though. I think GB's defense will be pissed about last week's game and want to shut them out and SF doesn't have much going for them with Gore out. Westbrook is still a good back but I don't see it happening with him.

Green Bay Packers = Coach killers.

Green Bay 31
San Fran 3

Singletary gone. :D

The Packers control their own destiny. They just have to win out, which is possible.

12-4 last week, 105-71 for the year .... good thing I don't make bets for a living ..... :atoz:

TNF: Houston @ Philadelphia - As much as I'd love to see the Eagles fall flat on their face, I don't see that happening here

Buffalo @ Minnesota - Bills step up here for the W

Cleveland @ Miami - Neither team excites me, but I'd guess the 'Fins have more desire

Jacksonville @ Tennessee - Jaguars in a tight one

New Orleans @ Cincinnatti - A little last quarter of the regular season gift to the Saints

Denver @ Kansas City - Chiefs

Washing @ NY Giants - Another tough division game for Big Blue. The Giants have been playing it very close to the cuff most of the year, with important position injuries starting to take their toll. Like every NFC East game, it'll be a knock down fight. Giants by a TD in a game they can not afford to lose

Chicago @ Detroit - Bears aren't going to mess this one up

San Francisco @ Green Bay - Packers

Oakland @ San Diego - Chargers have momentum on their side

Atlanta @ Tampa Bay - This will be a good game, just a guess for the Falcons in a close one

Dallas @ Indianapolis - I don't know what is going on with the Colts, but it isn't pretty. The 'Boys have awaken from the slumber, but still too much team in-fighting. Colts squeek one out

St Louis @ Arizona - This week's stinker game, Rams

Carolina @ Seattle - Panthers are sucking wind now, Seahawks

SNF: Pittsburgh @ Baltimore - I'm looking forward to this game .... think it's a draw, but slight edge to the Ravens

MNF: NY Jets @ New England - THE game of the week in the NFL .... I'm rooting for the J-E-T-S just because of their proximity, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Pats run away with it

I've never been any good at this but I'll give it a shot this week ...

  • TNF: Houston @ Philadelphia: Eagles pride was stung last week. They take it out on the Texans.
  • Buffalo @ Minnesota: Vikings do it again for Frazier at home.
  • Cleveland @ Miami: Pick 'em -- I'll take the Browns.
  • Jacksonville @ Tennessee: The Titans are in disarray, I'll take the Jags.
  • New Orleans @ Cincinnati: The Saints are hitting their stride.
  • Denver @ Kansas City: Denver is imploding. I'll take the Chiefs
  • Washington @ NY Giants: Upset special -- I'll take the Redskins in a typical NFC East streetfight.
  • Chicago @ Detroit: (My team) Potential Admiral Ackbar game. Bears don't fall into it and TCB FTW.
  • San Francisco @ Green Bay: SF doesn't have the horses. Packers take this one at home. (Although I disagree with Singletary being fired after this one. Nobody realistically expects them to win this game.)
  • Oakland @ San Diego: Chargers are playing as well as anyone in the AFC right now and win this one at home.
  • Atlanta @ Tampa Bay: The Falcons in a close game.
  • Dallas @ Indianapolis: We'll REALLY see the Jason Garrett effect here. I'll go out on a limb and take the 'Boys.
  • St Louis @ Arizona: Rams are believing in Bradford and will win this one.
  • Carolina @ Seattle: The "Who Cares?" bowl. I'll take the Seahawks.
  • SNF: Pittsburgh @ Baltimore: This ought to be a classic slugfest. I do believe that the Steelers are the better team.
  • MNF: NY Jets @ New England: Great game here folks. I think that the Pats are also hitting their stride and take this game -- even though it will be a close one.
