NFL Week #14

James is my favorite player. I'll cry like a baby when he retires.

I think he is injured. He probably lost a step this year, but he isn't as bad as he has looked recently. There are too many jokers in the secondary playing for themselves. Troy goes down and noone steps up to lead the team. They all want to go out and make a name for themselves to try and prove they are as good as Troy.

I don't know if he's injured or not, but he looked awful. I saw a brief interview of him after the game. He even said he was extremely embarrassed by his performance. I'm not picking on Farrior. I like him too; and like I said, there's plenty of blame to go around. Even Ben didn't look like himself. In past games, he'd try, and frequently succeed in evading what looked like a sure sack. Several times in this game, it looked more like he was just taking the sacks without even trying to escape. Just a total lackluster performance all around.

And Tomlin has to take some of the blame too. He looked bewildered at times. And Bruce Ariens needs to go. Very predictable play calling. Dick Lebeau's defensive schemes looked anything but special. A sad exhibition.

But they're still my team, and I'll stick with them. They'll turn things around eventually. I just hope that their cohesion in the locker room hasn't been too damaged. I think Ben's feelings were seriously hurt by Hines Ward's comments after the Ravens game. They need to come together to get through all this...

Agreed on Tomlin. I've been calling for Arians head since the day they hired him. I have never liked the guy. We won the SB last year despite his play calling, not because of it.

Same with me on sticking with my guys, although I did cancel my trip to the GB game. I'm going to watch the game here with my Steeler buddies and a few Cheeseheads.

Well, Packers win 21-14, although the 2nd and 3rd quarters could have been played better.

And WTH was with that call in the 2nd quarter? That was easily a touchdown, dunno what that ref was thinking.

Finally, Crosby should be dropped. He's gonna cost the Packers a game one of these days.

Jags over Miami.

28 - 21
Miami @ Jacksonville: i'm gonna be pulling for the jags in this one big time. infact, since there will be noone there at the game they'll probably be able to hear me... MIA 20 JAC 23
The Dolphins defense is killing it these days!:hyper: Even with three turnovers by the offense, they held the Jags to 10 points. And along with the solid running game, Henne's really rounding into shape.

Words cannot explain the happy dance I'm gonna do if Minnesota whoops New Orleans. The perfect way to shut Gard the eff up for a few months!!! :D

OK bigmouth, AFTER you pay off the first bet you already lost to me this season, how about another one:

Saints knock the Vikes out, IF the sadsacks even make it that far.

Same deal, I got 6 GOOD beers that says you don't do a happy dance, and make it easy for you, if the Barney and the boys DON'T make it that far, you're off the hook.

:)

No. You are far too annoying to bet with anymore.

Actually looking for your Saints, Gard, to take it to Brent, if we don't get the 3rd chance to do so first!

I am pulling for the Pack to get a third shot at him, and would love nothing more than to see them knock the Barneys out of the post season.

However, failing that, I am certain the boys in black & gold will send Barney & friends back to daytime kiddy TV.
