NFL Week #14

Ah, yes, now I remember. Hating for the sake of hating. Good luck with that! :D
That's entirely not true.

You've argued in the past that I "hated" the Colts solely because of their success. If that were the case, I'd be "hating" the Saints this year. I have no ill feelings whatsoever towards the Saints. If it weren't for Gard, that annoying asscrack, I'd like to see the Saints win the whole shebang this year.

Might have sumpin to do with the fact that by the time it's night on the west coast, most of us in the midwest or east coast are in bed!
Ding ding!

If you NYG/PHI/NE fans want to stay up until 1AM watching your teams play against OAK/SD/SEA/SF...well, I suppose more night games could be in the west.

I am surprised about the disparity between the NFC East and AFC East though.

Speaking of Saints fans, somebody just sent me this.

I'm just wondering where Gard was during the proceedings. Probably just out of camera range.;)

With the way you Packer guys around here hate on Favre, now I really hope he wins the SB. Just to shut you guys up. But then again, you'll probably hate him even more. :)

I was in Kiln today. No one there hates him.

Dude, it is all good. Relax. You can hate whomever you like. If you would like to talk about it any further I would be happy to but let's take it to PM.

i was wondering this too... but my educated guess would be that since new york city (yankees fans), philadelphia, washington d.c., and the entire south west are bigger markets than buffalo, miami, new york city (mets fans), and new england that has something to do with it..

(in my experience it seems that most mets fans are jets fans and most yankees fans are giants fans, and there are more yankees fans than mets fans)

This doesn't look good. Not good at all. If Ryan and Turner are in then we stand a chance. Although I was really hoping to see the Redskins pull the upset (I have a soft spot for them because Jason Campbell is one the best QBs ever at Auburn). My prediction is completely based on IF Ryan and Turner are playing and if our secondary learns how to play.

Saints-31
Falcons-33

Friends, this is a time when Eric needs our support. We need to be there to talk him off the ledge. We need to be there for him. He's our friend and a football fan and he's going through hard times. Let's rally to the cause everyone.

I understand why he's upset. Yes, his team followed an exciting, last minute Super Bowl win with a dud of a season. Yes, Brady Quinn could pick apart their weak secondary. Yes, that offensive line is really having problems. Yes, Roethlisberger isn't having a career year. Yes, Willie Parker is MIA. Yes, they've lost 4 straight losses and face an uphill battle to get to the playoffs. Yes, they suck right now. There are problems everywhere. They may never return to glory. This is all true. But, ...

Wait. Is this helping?

I am TEMPORARILY returning from my self-imposed exile because of the pain my brother Eric is suffering.

Eric my friend, even though you have insulted me and impugned my honor, on this very page even, I am here to tell you to NEVER give up on your team, root for them until the end, no matter how bad it looks.

Why?

Because, there is always NEXT YEAR.

I have lived this for 40+ years, and my "next year" finally came. You won't wait anywhere near that long...so step back in and be a fan of your team, no matter how they're doing, like the true fan you are.

Why?

So you can be here to help rub SPAZZBLOW'S face in the mud the Cowpatties are about to leave behind themselves on every football field they step on the rest of the year, that's why!

:hyper:

I have only one thing to say before I crawl back under my rock:

GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWELVE AND OH, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GET READY FOR 13-0!!!!!

:hyper:

(...Stanky, you're a good man, and a good fan, but you're going to be one very sad guy come Sunday afternoon, sorry...)
