NFL Week 17

ugly uniforms, dirty offensive line play, shanahan's tightly puckered pooter, javon walker... to name a few reasons.

? Excuse me sir?

Ugly Uniforms? Well IMO they are the best looking in the NFL. Maybe way back when I can understand.
Dirty O line play? Maybe but efficient none the less.
Shanahan is a damn good coach , two rings say a lot. Javon Walker is friggin amazing, just because Greenbay sucked so bad they couldn't figure out how to use him.

I think you are just bitter about that Superbowl shootout a few years ago......:D Packers haven't had a season like that since have they?:D

i didn't shanahan was a bad coach, i said he has a tightly puckered pooter to which you haven't disagreed :p

Javon Walker is friggin amazing, just because Greenbay sucked so bad they couldn't figure out how to use him.

it's not a matter of gb not figuring out how to use him, which they did quite successfully, it's his miniature t.o. act (drew rosenhaus is his agent, too, you'll enjoy that in a couple of years) that he forced his way out... what a baby...

I think you are just bitter about that Superbowl shootout a few years ago......:D

of course i'm bitter about losing a sb to the broncos, wouldn't you be if it was the other way around? yeah, elway was a great qb, but i under no circumstances wanted to send him out a winner...

Packers haven't had a season like that since have they?:D

i think 13 straight non losing seasons (one 8-8 season in 1999) from 1992-2004 speaks for itself... the main thing we've lacked since holmgren left is true high level coaching -- don't get me started on mike sherman, ugh -- but we've always had the talented teams up until we needed to start rebuilding in 2005... and this year we've had the youngest team in the nfl... a situation that the titans found themselves in the previous couple of years, coincidentally... now look, there a team with fairly deep talent, another fa period and good draft could really be what they need to take the afc south next year.

so if you're implying that i'm somehow jealous of the broncos, well, you should seriously get your head checked (i mean that in the nicest possible way, you looney :D :p)... i'll take my team with 12 championships and the smallest market in the league from my home state.

-No I don't really like the Viking uniforms, but they do look better than the vomit and urine rags the packers wear. :D
I can't understand how you can like that but find Blue and Orange ugly.

-Tom Nalen is the Man , Olshansky is a juicer:spit:

-I prefer not to think about Shanahan's or any other coaches asses but you go ahead, if that's what you like.

-I can't say I blame for Javon for whining about Greenbay, if I had to wear that thrownup piss rag uniform I would too.

- John Elway was the man, but he has a very goofy grin that bothers me a bit.

-I don't want my head checked, I'm not fond of mental institutions.

And since you wanna do pictures....

You can leave out a pic of anybody in a leather helmet,
it ain't 1926 anymore. ;)

MPG says 14 to 10 for the Pack. Got to love a die hard fan.
There is a reason those cheesehead hats are flat. Gives
you a place to park your beer, on the die hard fan in front
of you.

I'd say Bears, 24 to 14 is more like it.

Nice job last week Eagles. Nothing like seeing
'AMERICA'S TEAM' go down in flames. Dullass is
always an annoying team rife with prima donnas
and trash talkers who don't deliver when the going
gets tough. Typically, the end zone dance is the
only well executed moves they work on during the week.
I'd like to see some of that fancy footwork on the field
more often.

I agree, I think the Broncos are going to be a very
difficult team to beat in the playoffs.

And when the Eagles dig in, they can be tough to beat as
well.

And, the Pats, well, it sure hasn't been pretty. But they sure
have a knack for puttting some real ugly games into the
wim column. Undoubtedly, their coaching has been there
best area in the last few years, and even though there have
been some major injuries, the younger players have stepped
up. It is good to see Rodney Harrison back in the line up.
That guy is a human missle. If he can stay healthy, look
for strong defense from the Pats. Brady needs to get back
on his game, he has been inconsistent lately, though last
weeks stats were excellent, the game outcome didn't
really reflect it.

Its getting better every week. This is what
'It's the most wonderful time of the year' means to me,
and why I go into a severe depression in February.

it doesn't matter when it's don hutson, the first true route running wide receiver in the nfl and the man that held the lifetime receiving td crown until steve largent broke it in the 80s  when packers players get a record, it tends to stay on the books for a long time (see hornung's single season scoring record just broken by lt2)...

okay, i'll stop the homerism :p

yeah, this is an exciting time of year, it's so fun to invest your fortunes in the outcomes of silly games played by grown men, and i mean that in all seriousness.

we're in for a wild weekend, folks!

btw, i have my grandfather's leather helmet from his playing days, one of my prized possessions...

anything vince lombardi decreed is unassailable, my friend, unassailable... and with a wave of his hand he changed our colors from blue and gold to green and gold, and yea we saw that it was good and that blue was evil and cursed :smug: ;)

-Tom Nalen is the Man , Olshansky is a juicer:spit:

whatever, it was a low blow and very ugly...

-I prefer not to think about Shanahan's or any other coaches asses but you go ahead, if that's what you like.

check out the dude's page on the broncos site, here's a tasty tidbit:

Every successful team has one key leader, and those organizations that have achieved the greatest success have an ultimate leader—an individual combining exceptional talent and organizational skills with the dynamic drive to lead others to success. One of the most brilliant minds in football, Executive Vice President of Football Operations and Head Coach Mike Shanahan is that lightning rod for the Denver Broncos’ championship history, and few coaches in NFL annals have spearheaded as much dramatic achievement.

oh, gag me...

-I can't say I blame for Javon for whining about Greenbay, if I had to wear that thrownup piss rag uniform I would too.

if walker is such a priss that he needs to have the team uniforms to his questionable taste, then you're really going to have fun with him in a couple of years... don't worry, i won't even say i told you so ;) :D

- John Elway was the man, but he has a very goofy grin that bothers me a bit.

on this, i think we can agree :D

hey, why am i wasting my energy on the broncos?!!! it's bears week!

i bet you like the new vikqueens uniforms, too  :p

As a matter of fact, I do. I happen to be a fan of the Vikes. I also like tha Seahawk's new uniforms.

AND, I actally really miss the old Bronco uni's. I liked the Orange jersey's & the "D" on the helmets.

Nalen is a great player, with or without the "questionable blocking techniques".

Javon walker is no T.O., Thankfully. He has been a positive addition to the team. He'll help smooth the transition when Rod Smith retires (which will be a sad day).

Shannahan is brilliant. Heck, a lazy, fat slob like me could be a 1000-yard rusher on a Shannahan offense.

oh dear lord, a broncos and vikings fan  ;) you are truly lost :p

yeah, i like the classic uni's: packers, bears, steelers, raiders, the throwback chargers powder blues, colts, i like the fact the jints went back to the old ny logo... it's football, not a freakin' fashion show!

you can thank alex gibbs for the zone blocking technique that shanahan uses... in fact you can trace the principles of zone blocking back to vince lombardi and red blaik (former head coach for west point). and, like i said, shanahan's not a bad coach, he's just uptight and full of himself.

San Fran flies into the mountains and gets destroyed , a preview of what will happen to Indy or NE, which ever is unlucky enough to be in the no 3 spot.

Broncos 31 - 49ers 10

Not a chance, We seem to suck majority against the bad teams (packs, Cards, etc) Yet decent teams we somehow stay close or even win. Denver Ponies will get what Seattle seagulls got.
