NFL Week 17

OK, this thread became a little, um... girlish? (and I am questioning that term because girl(s) (disenchant) in this thread are(is) actually talking about football). However a lot of you "guys" are talking about "what uniform looks better", and "what color are they", and well... "what colors match the the best with teams QB eyes". We have more important things to talk about, like 9ers destroying Denver Ponies and Green Bay spanking those cute koala bears. Oh and not to forget Philly making it. Go Eagles i guess...

I'm just waiting to see if the Bears will shut out the Packers again.

My dad's a Packers fan, my brother, boyfriend and I are all Bears fans. It's a divided house.

I wonder who will play...will they save all their starters for the playoffs? Will they give Brian Griese some throws?

According to coach Smith it's a regular rotation starting..there will be plenty of rest time between playoff games , but of course if it's a blow out i'm sure the 2nd and 3rd string will play.:D

Well, I'm glad all the Grossman critics have shut up. They made fun of him on Q101 this morning about how can can't make a pass. I was thinking "did you MISS the last two games?" Sure our defense fell asleep in the second half, but I think Grossman did a great job.

Yeah he's done fine, but i thought Griese did fine with his time plus he has a better feel in the pocket(get It, haha) of when to step up or move out when he feels pressure which is something Rex needs a lot of work on. If he stepped up he would be steeping into his passes instead of throwing of his back leg. All things be equal ill feel comfortable if Rex struggles with Griese in there, no disrespect to Rex .

Seems like there's always a QB controversy in Chi town.

That's what Bears football is all about!

I think Rex just lacks consistency. Griese is more experienced, but he never excited me that much. I think when Rex is on, he can pull off the big plays. But if he's "off" then the offense can't move the ball to save their lives.

I think we're lucky to have two good QBs. And that Urlacher is not injured.

Well said... and your bf sure is lucky to have a girlfriend that likes and knows football:cool:

Ok YOU CAN'T USE "OUR" Blues Bros. against DA BEARS!
How about those annoying 70's show kids instead?

:p

As a Gator fan, I am happy to see Rex playing well again.

This Sunday, I hope the Packers beat the Bears. The game means nothing to Chicago, and everything to the Pack. I'd like to see Favre make the playoffs one more time.

What?!! Mike it means we beat the Pack twice and go undefeated in the conference.

Also even if the pack should win they still need a miracle. Like all the other teams in the NFC with 7-8
records to lose! So yes this game means a lot to Chicago.

Ok you 9ers fan, you wanna put a sig wager on this? I just got my sig back but I'm more than willing to put it on the line against another team I hate! What do ya say? I do like Gore a bit though.......:D

Anyway, back to the most important part of football: The uniforms! Denver did not steal the Bores' look, its all in the pants. Broncos sport blue and orange pants with the home uni, whilst the Bores have white trousers at home. There you have it. At least they are different conferances. Look at San Fran and Tampa, they have the same colors and both play NFC. Same for Detroit and Dallas. Same with NE, BUff, and Housten.
