It looks like MPG must be busy with the holidays, so allow me to kick off the final week of the NFL season thread!

My boys are done, they're out. So sad.

That doesn't mean we won't be playing for pride and respect. It will also be MOST AWESOME to go to Cincy and hand the Bungals a loss and eliminate them from the playoffs.

Packers do to the Bears what the Lions couldn't...finish them off! In a New Year's Eve thriller at the spaceship and vaulting the Pack into the playoffs....

i'm in utter disbelief that we're even contemplating playoffs right now... thanks to the saints and the panthers for knocking off the jints and dirty birds... bizarre, just utterly bizarre...

i was hoping that the 9ers would take the west just for the shock value of it.

Well, the Saints are locked as the #2 seed in the NFC playoffs, have the 1st round bye sewn up, so they will most likely be resting some starters, especially if any of them are dinged.

However, Carolina is still going to get whupped:

Last week's Dolphins weren't exactly an offensive dynamo, but I'm sure Ronnie Brown will love our defense.

Still, I haven't been impressed with the Dolphins pass defense. I think all the Colts want some momentum and will playing their butts off this week.

"suppose to" has nothing to do with it... it's a physical game and part of the deal is luck, lucky enough to have your starters through most of the season or lucky enough to have the people behind them step up... if there was no room for error, we wouldn't have anything to trash talk about
