NFL Week 17

...I remember a saying, something about not counting chickens before they hatch...

;)

...there's a team due south of you, and if their offense is "on" your defense will be a doormat. And your offense is so...well...offensive...that if it becomes a shootout, all the bullets will be flying in one direction.

And yes, they can play well on the road and in less than pleasant and mild conditions outside. Just ask the Giants...oh wait, they can't answer, they got smacked right in the mouth Sunday (by the Saints RUNNING GAME, folks, not passing! :smug: )

Let's not crown anyone the NFC Sacrifical Superbowl Lamb (we all know that the AFC is just better...sigh...) just yet, hmmkay?

Gard..i know the Saints are doing good #2 seed and all that and no direspect to them.. but we've waiting to redeem themselves from last years early exit. And since the NFC is a little weak this year i feel very confident.

It does'nt matter who's a qb as long they keep to's to a minimum and run the ball like they can they'll be fine.

So yeah i'm dilusionall cuz my Bears are the best in the NFC
and get no respect even at 13-2:mad:

when most of league STRUGGLES to get to 8-8:eek:

Go BEARSSS....

I'm not dissin' the Bears, they're good, I'm just sayin' that ass/u/me-ing a spot on the sideline in Miami in early Feburary is a bit premature. You gotta win ALL the games to get there, and you haven't played 'em yet.

You'd feel awful foolish if someone like Philly came to Chi and knocked you out in the divisional round and the Championship ended up bein' in the 'dome, wouldn't ya?

;)

And I'm not sayin' that is gonna happen either, could be the Saints that don't "show up" in the divisional game and end up on a couch for the big game.

Gotta play 'em first, then crow about 'em.

:D

That's just the expectation we have here in Chicago.
Anything less than a SB "appearance" then this season has been a failure plain and simple.

I know your team is in uncharted waters so i don't blame you for being cautious;) .
NO ONE EXPECTED this so your waitiiing for someone to pinch ya, right?

Also I don't think we'd be facing Philly, just saying the way
the pairings look to shake out, but they do look good too.
Garcia and the D have come on strong. Kudos to them and the whupping they gave the cowpatties.

So let's get it on i wish Jan.14th was here already.:hyper:

Oh thats funny...haha

I'm assuming this is one of those 49ers you're braying about?

I wish i could grow stash like that. :D

Raider fans are like cockroaches; they are afraid of the light and you must squish them on sight.

Hahahaha.

My favorite thing about raider fans is that they still think their team is winning and good. One of them actually told me that reason they are not in playoffs is because they got chargers in their devision.

one like this might impress the ladies more...

Anyway, back to the most important part of football: The uniforms! Denver did not steal the Bores' look, its all in the pants. Broncos sport blue and orange pants with the home uni, whilst the Bores have white trousers at home. There you have it.

Dude, the Bears have been sporting the same look since before your father had enough pubic hair to even create you.

Maybe not old enough to remember these uniforms?

Here's some old Broncos fans outside of Mile High

i'll see your navy and orange and raise you green and gold...

Green and Yellow, the colors of mucus and urine. Describes the Packers pretty well. There'll be plenty of Green and Yellow this weekend. The Packers get the snot knocked out of them and Bears D makes em piss their pants. Maybe after this upcoming game, the Pack's colors will be green, yellow, and brown.

You should let us have our delusions. It's all we have ;) It's not like the Bears ever spend REAL money and get us some good players. I would have liked to see Matt Leinart QB for us.

13-2 best record in the NFL is not a delusion
#2 in points scored is not a delusion
#3 least points scored, #5 least yards allowed is not a delusion.

It would have been great to have Leinart QB for us, but with the #26 pick there was no chance the Bears would have gotten him. If we were to trade up to get him, we would have lost our 2nd rounder, and probably another first rounder in the future. If we lost our 2nd rounder, we wouldn't get Manning and Hester. Hester has won games for us, and with the injury to Mike Brown, Manning has been helpful. Also, Leinart would have cost big bucks, and the Bears need the cap room to resign Lance Briggs. Briggs is a key in the Bears D, and I'd love to see them keep him.

Anyway, It's a great year to be a Bears fan.
