NFL Week #17

Poor guy nuthin'! I have little sympathy for self-inflicted stupidity, and even less sympathy for a repeat offender of stupidity and bad choices.

Yeah, I hear ya on that. I feel sorry for the man in general. He wasn't stupid like that when we drafted him, so someone or something has gotten in his head since his last days in Pittsburgh.

I'm not so ignorant as to think he was an angel until he left, I'm sure it started happening as a Steeler, which is probably one of the reasons they chose not to give him the big money and catches he wanted. Well, that and a certain #86 on the roster. :)

Ah ok! Sorry about that. :D

I believe the Falcons will fair well in the playoffs. By no means am I expecting us to go to the Super Bowl but it sure would be nice. :bassist:

I think the Falcons are the best story in the League this year. That team, and in particular their owner Mr. Blank(sp?), deserve all the success they've had this year. After the "S" storm Vick put them through...... Everything I've heard about the front office of the Falcons is very positive.

Well, I'm obviously happy to see the Steelers roll over the hated Browns:D, but now we have to sit around and worry about when Big Ben will be ready to go. Initial reports indicate that it's "just" a concussion, but I've learned to not trust those first reports completely, as I'm sure more details will be on the way. :(

My Bucs have forsaken me. I cannot (well to some degree I can) believe they lost the last 4 games and knocked their dumb asses right out of the playoff picture. I still think Gruden needs to take a hike and find employment else where. They IMO did so much better under Dungy in his 5 year tenure than they ever had on POS Gruden. Now that they're out I am pulling for the Jets, but they're down 14-0 against the Dolphins right now. Football today just sucks for me.:mad::mad:

The Steelers have a first round bye, no? If that's the case, if it's "just" a concussion, he should have plenty of time to rest.

That's the good news....the Steelers won't play again until Jan 10/11, so he's got a couple of weeks to shake it off, but again, I hope the initial reports of "just" a concussion are correct. :hmm:

Wow, Philadelphia is walking all over Dallas right now. This morning they were a longshot to make the playoffs (certain scenarios had to work themselves out for the possibility of them even making the playoffs) and right now they certainly aren't squandering the newfound opportunity.

I have no dog in this fight, but wow, Dallas is just rolling over right now.

27-3 at the half. Dallas will need a miracle now to make the playoffs..

So on the same day the Bucs relinquish their long standing record of a winless season, they complete the biggest collapse is history. Apparently, no other team has EVER started 9-3 and not made the playoffs. Un"buc"ingbelievable. :scowl:

AND, he'll have lots of recovery time... How about practice time???

Regardless, Leftwich looked good. Ben hasn't. I'm not so sure we'd be much worse with Leftwich. :hmm:

S. Hill 4 8 1 7
M. Robinson 1 2 0 2

Receiving REC YDS TD LG
J. Morgan 3 50 0 26
B. Johnson 2 43 0 24
Robinson 2 43 0 24
B. Bajema 1 29 0 29

There are so many different players involved and pretty equal too...

We win! We don't suck as much as we did last year!

Look out for 9ers next year for the 6th ring!
