NFL Week #18 Wild Card Weekend

I think that some of the better QBs in the NFL are in the NFC north. Stafford is very good, although his receivers had hands of stone yesterday. I've been very impressed by Sam Bradford in Minnehaha this year, and of course - there's Aaron Rodgers. For the last five weeks, he has ruled the game. His passes look like a master throwing darts.

Hoping for a cheesy victory today!

And don't foget Jay Cutler! :smug:

I heard after he signed that contract he threw a big party but no one came because the invitations were intercepted.

The interesting thing with the Vikes is they get Bridgewater back, so what do they do with Bradford? And they gave up a pile of Draft choices to get Bradford. Not sure that was a great move.

The Steelers came out on fire, and the Dolphins didn't have an answer. But despite the lopsided result, I think there are some positives for Miami to take away from this. On their second possession, where they got their first FG, Pittsburgh got away with defensive holding/PI on 3rd down near the goal line; Miami might've gotten a TD there. And they were certainly on pace for TDs both right before and after halftime before Moore fumbled when sacked (twice!). Still don't think they would have won, but they could have made a good game out of it. Injuries in the secondary also hurt big time. There's no excuse for letting Bell run wild like that, though.

The only thing that can stop the Pack is their lack of a decent RB but if Rogers goes into gun slinger mode they won't need one and that hit on Jordy was intentional they wanted him out of the game it sucks because we fans are not getting the best players from each team on the field.

I'm waiting for them to sign Peterson to a huge extension.

That hit was a spear with the helmet and should get a hefty fine. If Nelson doesn't have a broken rib I'll be very surprised.

There was a news story over the weekend showing how one team (Seahawks?) train with tackling pads and no helmets to get in the habit of moving your head to the side. That hit on Nelson was a full-on spear.

I agree and these players don't understand if you take out the star players what you have left is preseason quality football more people want to make hits not tackles.
