NFL Week #19 THE PLAYOFFS

IDK about that. Vegas has you as 2 point favorites at this point.

Yes, but watch ESPN. Trent Dilfer seems to have a personal grudge against the Falcons. Atlanta just isn't a very flashy team. They get the job done though. I was hoping for Seattle to come to town because I'm worried about the GB game. Packers are a good team.
Either way, it's been fun watching the Falcons this year. I've been a fan all of my 31 years. It's nice to see a few winning seasons out of the history of mediocrity.

Falcons used to be a super flashy team, I much prefer watching Deion play to the boring 10 point Falcon games.

And forget about ESPN. A couple guys had the Texans in the superbowl :(.

Órale!
We're Back!

Is anyone rooting against Seattle?

Is so, why?
Me. I can't claim the Bears as my team, even though I live here, because I'm a lifelong Dolphins fan (:atoz: right now). But I like'em, despite Cutler's mouth.

Also, I can't stand Pete "I'm absolutely shocked" Carroll, and that goes back to his first stint as an NFL coach.

More than anything else THIS is what sickens me about my Saints losing to those guys this past weekend.

I despise that jerk.

Gard my man, good to hear from you and I really do feel your pain (2007 Superbowl :atoz:). For the record, no one I know picked the Seahawks.

Regarding Pete Carroll: as a Pats fan it is tough to root against him for all the crap he took here and New York, but the high school rah ! rah ! mentality is lame. I still like him better than Rex Ryan :spit:

This guy. Life long Bears fan. I'd like to see a Bears/Packers NFC Championship game at Soldier Field. Plus, Seahawks somehow beat the Bears back in week 6 and I don't see that happening again. Chicago has proved they're a different team the second half of the season. Seattle has proved they CAN be a different team than what they were.

With a week of rest and planning to go with it the home teams still have a clear advantage. That said I can't see the Pack taking the Falcons, they've got that air about them that concerns me.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see the Jets beat Belicheat and his Evil Empire, but I'm not holding my breath. A replay of what the Ravens did last year, however, would be just fine.......
If the Seamonkeys get past the Bears I'll be shocked, mind you they're playing with house money so that makes them dangerous.
Just as an aside I tried ta warn ya Gard, but never in a thousand lifetimes did I see THAT coming, especially from that angle.
If the Ravens play like they did in Arrowhead, we're on our way. Sheer luck, combined with bad play calling at the end of the game gave those damn Feelers the game in M&T. Won't happen again, we bearded the lion once this season we can do it again........

:D

Which means they actually think they'll lose. Home field advantage is supposed to be worth 3 points, so if Atlanta is only favored by 2 then that means more people like the Pack/think the packers are the better team.

Anyway, i'm not going to be making any picks, but i will say that i'm rooting for the Falcons, Steelers, and of course the Pats. As far as the Bears and Seahawks go i could care less.
