Pack at Rams. I'm officially going on record as saying that if the Pack loses....season over. I guess the ultimate example of "preseason means nothing" was last year when the Lions went 4-0 in the preseason and 0-16 in the regular season. I mean, c'mon, how many consecutive years in a row can you have the youngest team in the NFL (Packers 4th year in a row now) and expect to win consistently?

Pack better put it together quick, despite both starting safeties likely out and our best O-lineman, Clifton. I'll say Pack barely hangs on and Rodgers wins it in the final 19 seconds.

Pack 17 Rams 14

Jumping the gun on week 3 again!

One more game to go in week 2 still!!! ;)

I'll check in with picks tomorrow, preliminary: Saints @ Bills, I'm a bit concerned with their D against us, they manhandled the Patsies, but the Patsies aren't looking like world beaters so far, so I'm not REAL concerned.

Based on what happened against the Yucs, the Bills will not win against the Saints, but I can't see the Saints continuing to score like a bingo machine...

Whoa, bro. Come down off that ledge man........

But I do wonder how the heck Bumson runs over GB with a bum ankle, and Forte couldn't get anything going last week. The loss of Clifton, and the poor play of Barbre is really going to hurt Mr Rodgers neighborhood. GB better take care of that quick. If teams see that you can attack the safeties, and effectively rush the passer on the edge, it will be for a long season.

I think the Saints will score more than 31 up there. A nice break getting them in Buffalo this time of year. Playing them in December would probably make it closer. Not much, a little closer.

C'mon, the 'Skins were 0/5 in the red zone, and managed only nine points. I don't see GB being that inept.

Granted STL played hard the whole game, but were only in it because of Washington's inability to convert, and Steven Jackson's 58 yard run. Take away Jackson's 1 good play, and the Rams had under 200 yds offense.

Look for a big game from the Pack. But don't get too pumped up about it, they'll be back to "real" competition soon enough.

I wouldnt be so sure... Bengals D is playing better than they have in years. I think it will be a good game although the Steelers are still stronger all around. You know what happens when these two get together though ;)

I remember when Kitna was on the Bungles and he just lit up PIT at the end of that season. Man, that was a bad team.

Oooh I'm definitely alone on this one this week. :D

Pats 21

Yeesh, this is awful.

Can I root for a tie?

:hyper:

...ah well, the game is in Foxboro, right?

If so, I'm gonna give this one to the Patsies, can't see 'em losing two in a row, nor will the Foulclowns defense be facing Noodle-Arm Pennington or Can't-Hit-The-Broadside-Of-A-Barn Delhomme. They still haven't faced an offense capable of going down the field on them yet this season.

Week 2 is not over yet.

Giants have the start of three seemingly easy games this week at TB (KC & OAK after that), but they have some player issues. Not the least of which is Tuck whose status remains unknown. While Strahan is the D leader, Tuck is clearly the best player on that defense and they will miss him if he's out for any length of time ......

Giants should get this one, but it wouldn't surprise me if it is a little too close for comfort ...
