Cleveland @ Baltimore - Right. Cleveland...at Baltimore...can we give negative points? Cleveland 10 Baltimore 31.

Atlanta @ New England - Brady finally wakes up. Atlanta finally runs into a team that can play some football. Atlanta 23 NE 27

Yup, Atlanta plays a team that can actually play football and drops one, however NE isn't very impressive either right now, more of a "good" team than a "we're going to bury everyone we run into" team. They're just mortal this year, good, but mortal. +1

Francisco @ Minnesota - Good matchup. Two of the best RB's in the NFL; two of the better defenses. Tough call. Go with the home team. SF 20 Minn 24

@ Houston - Yeah, I'm off the Jax train. Jax 13 Houston 27

What the....? These two teams are the most confusing in the NFL right now. You never know which will show up, picking their games will be an exercise in futility this season. -1

@ NY Jets - I don't think I'd like to be playing the Titans right now. This should be a barn-burner of a game, very close. I'm going with the Jets. Tennessee 24 Jets 27

Kansas City @ Philadelphia - Philly gets a patsy to take their frustration out on. They have a lot of frustration to take out. KC 13 Philly 31

KC is in trouble, Philly will contend, Kolb has played well in relief of McNabb. +1

Green Bay @ St. Louis - Another frustration venting game. Green Bay is better than what they showed last week; St. Louis is exactly as bad as they seem. GB 27 St. Louis 6

St. Louis may tie the Lions...so may two other teams (Cleveland, TB). +1

NY Giants @ Tampa Bay - Steamroller. Freight train. Anyone get the number of that bus? NYG 35 TB 10

Man, TB is a bad team, and a bad organization. I'm stating it now, they will finish no better than 2-14, and may go 0-16. They stink. +1

Washington @ Detroit - Like I've been saying, Detroit won't lose 'em all this year. Here's win #1. Washington 10 Detroit 24

Washington has quit playing football. Detroit is better than everyone gives them credit for being. +1

Chicago @ Seattle - Another frustration game. Seattle will win, but not by a lot. Chicago 17 Seattle 24

Chicago is the luckiest team in the NFL. It can't continue. It won't. But for now, they're 2-1. -1

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - Upset special. Cincy's defense mobbed GB last week, they'll be all over Big Ben in this one. Close, but Pittsburgh drops to 1-2 here. Pittsburgh 17 Cincy 20

Miami @ San Diego - Miami won't travel well on this one, and San Diego's defense is stout enough to deal with the wildcat. Miami 20 San Diego 27

Man, not a good way to see Pennington go out, I like the dude. I don't like Miami's chances, even with him, to do much this year, and they showed it in this one. +1

Denver @ Oakland - Denver is not as good as their record. Oakland is. Denver in a squeaker. Denver 21 Oakland 20

Well, I picked it for who'd win. JaMarcus Russell is AWFUL. +1

Indianapolis @ Arizona - Indy's defense is suspect...VERY suspect. Arizona has a decent defense and a very dangerous offense. Indy 24 Arizona 31

Indy's defense just told me to STFU. -1

Carolina @ Dallas - What can you say about this one, the quarterbacks are looking like Dumb & Dumber so far this year. As much as I despise the Cowgirls and Bony Homo, I don't think Carolina can win this one. However, against my better judgment, I'm going with the upset special, series II on this one. Carolina 24 Dallas 21

What a pansy move, he breaks off the quick slant on a blitz read, and causes a pick 6. Don't blame this loss on Delhomme, both of his INTs were the result of receivers that either quit on him or just flat didn't run their routes.

Dall@$$ wins, but despite the 14 point spread, it was really more of a Carolina loses game. The Cowpatties have two wins against two 0-3 opponents. I still say this team finishes AT BEST .500. -1

My game:

New Orleans @ Buffalo - Buffalo has two very good receivers (hey, TO's an @$$, but he's a talented @$$) and a QB that can get the ball to them if he has time. However, they just IR'd their starting left tackle. Yeah, he won't have much time. Gregg Williams got run out of Buffalo on a rail, he's going to have the Saints D wound up and ready to explode this weekend. The Saints offense doesn't need any extra incentive, exploding is what they do - but Buffalo has 2 weeks worth of film to study now, so they will have a little success slowing 'em down. A very little. Saints 31 Bills 17

Yup. Man, just when you think you have shut 'em down, they find other ways to hurt you.

That wasn't a game that the Cowpatties won, it was a game that the Panthers, specifically A Panther, Steve Smith, gave away. So far, the Cowpatties have wins against two 0-3 teams, two NOBODIES - one of which they struggled to beat last night, and they are ripe to get their @$$es handed to them, which they will experience in Denver this coming Sunday.

I'm genuinely looking for faults in my team, and not seeing too many. I'm concerned about our OT situation, but otherwise, we're healthy and deep.

Show me an offense that is on a par with the Saints, and we'll talk. Oh, and if your Cowboys play like they did last night at the Dome in December, be prepared for a long night, because THAT performance would be asking to end up looking like the Eagles (which they are a better team than the Cowboys right now, by the way).

Gardo, Your calculator must be broken, that or you've got a couple toes missing on one of your feet. The Detroit game had an 18 point win not 20.
IMO the Saints played poorly against the Bills at least compared to weeks one and two. The highest powered offense thus far only scored 27 (most of which was in the fourth quarter). If I were a Saints fan I'd be concerned there. SCRAPING by the Bills is more concerning to the Saints as they are THE high scoring team. Not known as much for defense as Dallas but for all the points and yards that Brees can rack up.
I say Romo was being hampered by play calling last night. They never tried a deep pass. Although Dallas Has 400+ yards rushing the past two weeks.
The Eagles are the only team thus far with offensive weapons that could compete with NO. How would NO fair without Brees? Get a methodical moving offense like that of the Giants and NO could very well show more holes than swiss cheese.

We'll see. My Sunday ticket is set for watching NO too

I agree. Dallas was lucky to win that game. In fact, they didn't really win it, like TURD says, it's just that Carolina is so horrible, so putrid, they gave it away. Carolina shouldn't even be fielding an NFL team, they're more like division III.

Romo played horribly. His passes were inaccurate, he has no leadership skills, he dates people that I feel are less intelligent than I am. He'll never win a big game. This was not a big game.

The defense sucks. They allowed a horrible team to score a touchdown. Pathetic. They got three turnovers, but Carolina basically handed the ball to a Cowboy. Carolina is so stupid they don't know who plays on the team.

Felix Jones cannot blitz pickup and is not very fast. Barber is hurt all the time. Choice was lucky on his runs. The offensive line is old and commits penalties. The owner is obnoxious. The stadium should be smaller and should cost less money.

Dallas will be lucky to go 1-15 this season. LUCKY! They can't beat a real team. Pathetic.

Then, with a 6 point differential, Carolina's "best player" (ha! more like most selfish jack@$$) decide that he didn't care for the slant that had been called, with himself as the primary receiver, and decided to turn it up right as the QB let go of the ball to the spot he SHOULD have occupied. The fortunate Cowpatty DB, who actually managed to do what he was supposed to do in that situation, was sitting alone waiting on a pass that SHOULD have been in Steve Smith's hands, and had an easy walk into the end zone.

Yeah, Carolina GAVE the game away, and the fact that you don't want to see it will make the @$$whuppin' the Broncos are about to lay all over your beloved Cowpatties all the more painful next weekend, SPAZZBLOW. I almost feel sad for you. Almost.

Yeah, the two times in the red zone were frustrating. It's odd too because the Cowboys have consistently been one of the highest rated teams in the red zone for the last several years. (But that's a stat you probably weren't aware of nor do you concern yourself with). But it does suck that they weren't that effective.

I guess I'm just laughing because even after a 14 point win Dallas gets zero credit for actually winning. I look at the NFL differently from you I think. A win is a win is a win, and I'll tell you why I feel that way. As a Cowboys fan here in the Bay Area for all my life, I used to get so frustrated seeing the 49ers play in the softest division I could imagine, and then land right in the playoffs. But the thing is, the 49ers would win in the playoffs. During that stretch in the 90s, sure, they won one and Dallas won 3, but the 9ers always played Dallas really tight. And I thought the 49ers couldn't be that good because many of their wins came off against fluff teams. But I learned two things: 1) this is the NFL. Even the worst teams can win on "any given Sunday." And, 2) winning breeds winning. Those sports fans of losing teams who beg for more losses at the end of the season so the team can get a high draft pick don't understand that winning atmospheres are more important than 5 draft spots, (unless Tim Duncan is available). A win is a win is a win. You can argue that teams that beat good teams are battle-tested, but you can also argue that teams that beat poorer teams are more self-confident and finely tuned. I don't know.

Dallas didn't play exceptionally, sure. They didn't win 45-0. I do think that Carolina came out in desperation mode, 0-2, facing their bye, and determined not to lose the game. I think Dallas got one of the best games that Carolina will play this year. I also think that Carolina has real problems, though, and ultimately Dallas was able to take advantage of them. So, you mention some stats from the game, but you don't mention how great Dallas looked running the ball, without their top RB. And sure, maybe Carolina isn't that good, but Dallas was just as effective against NY when running. So, which is it.

Here's another perspective to look at the game from. Dallas shut down Carolina's running game and made them one dimensional. Dallas forced Carolina to highlight the aspect of their game that is the weakest.

The truth is, the game is more complex than black or white. Good teams take advantage of the other team's misfortunes. Just like NY did against Dallas the week before, remember?

I think what's fun about talking football with you TURD, is that your hatred allows you to only see the one side. Dallas is not the best team in the league. For all we know, New Orleans is. But Dallas won last night, by 14 points, and had some things that looked great and some things that didn't. You should get a job at ESPN, TURD, you'd fit right in. They have the surface level analysis that the sportsradio fools get all excited about.

It's kind of cool being a fan of a team that people feel so passionate about. Love them or hate them, everybody is talking about them. Crazy. Nobody ever cares about New Orleans unless they're winning. Damn shame too, cause they have a great history and are from a beautiful town. We should get people more excited about New Orleans, talk about them more. I feel bad since they don't have a winning history, I feel like they're neglected. It would be different if they were always winning. I mean, even recently when they've had talent and been good, you know. Like, last year, they have this amazing QB but they finish last in the division. Now I think that they're some good teams in that division, but TURD thinks that the Bucs have a horrible coach, the Panthers suck and don't have a real QB, and that the Falcons aren't as good as everybody thinks. And, still, New Orleans can't win the division last year. So, I guess it's rough cause even when NO is good, they aren't consistently good or aren't going to the playoffs, and not even making the SB. I totally understand your pain TURD.

Let's all get more excited about NO! C'mon, guys! You can do it. I know they aren't as sexy to talk about as the effeminite QB, but Brees is really talented, despite the mole, and they're playing really well this year. C'mon everyone!

What?! The Cowboys have already won two games. That's not possible. I listen to the media reports guys. Their QB can't win a big game, and there's something about punts and a scoreboard that apparently is very important sports news. I think that maybe the league will take a win away from the Cowboys because it must have come against a bad team.

I'm very aware and critical of their struggles, but these other cats who're Cowboy haters see all Roses with their teams.
