While Strahan is the D leader, Tuck is clearly the best player on that defense and they will miss him if he's out for any length of time ......
Giants should get this one, but it wouldn't surprise me if it is a little too close for comfort ...
Giants 21, TB 17
Yeah, I'm not gonna call a winner on this one. Troy remains out, and Pittsburgh has yet to pull it all togther. The lack of the running game (and the kicking game, Jeff?) has me concerned early in the year. Cincy is a physical team and I fear they are gonna come out smelling blood...I wouldnt be so sure... Bengals D is playing better than they have in years. I think it will be a good game although the Steelers are still stronger all around. You know what happens when these two get together though![]()
Technically, they DID lose two in a row. If it wasn't for a ridiculous mental error by the Bills, that game was over, and NE would be 0-2....If so, I'm gonna give this one to the Patsies, can't see 'em losing two in a row...
I thought he retired?
What's your call if Strahan comes out of retirement?

....you'll look back on this day and reflect "... should have cut the old bastadge some slack on that one" .......
Cleveland 10 Baltimore 31....oh, and by the way, Steelers fans, check out The Bus' column today, I found the bit at the bottom of page 1 interesting:

Somehow despite all the handwringing I think he'll end up getting what he wants from some team. These things always seem to turn out that way.![]()
The part about how great the Saints offense is? Yeah, big deal. Everyone is saying that right now. Jerome is just joining in the banter to make himself look smarter.
There is no way in h-e-double hockey sticks the Saints would put up more than 21 points on us with Troy playing, which he would be if we met in the Super Bowl.

You are telling me, in all seriousness, that ONE player on the Steelers defense JUST ONE, is the reason they looked so ineffective at Chicago? Really?
This past Sunday, yes. TC is not ready for prime time. Good backup, but he can't be the man. With Troy on the field, the Bears do not score 10 points in the 4th.
We don't need to get in a shooting match with anyone. Our defense is good enough to keep that from happening. You guys are all about Brees and throwing the ball. Take that away, and you are nothing.
We'll save the SB banter for if you guys make it that far. Heck, try just making the playoffs for once.

All I can do now is...
You're an alright guy Gard.
-Mike
Sure does, and it always irritates me. I'm sure each case is different, but I wonder how much of this one is the agent filling his head with nonsense and how much of it is Crabtree.
Has he done any radio or TV interviews down there where you can get a read on the guy? I've only read articles.
