I just read an article on NFL dot com saying the Chargers still have a lot better chance of going to the playoffs than the Saints do. The reason is obvious. The Chargers are in a crap division, and the Saints will be lucky to finish third in their division (despite Gard's hallucinations).

I just read an article on NFL dot com saying the Chargers still have a lot better chance of going to the playoffs than the Saints do. The reason is obvious. The Chargers are in a crap division, and the Saints will be lucky to finish third in their division (despite Gard's hallucinations).

Excellent game to watch, but of course it's my two favorite teams
. The true strengths of both of those teams was in full view and the outcome could have gone either way. If they were to play again next week, I'd bet the game would look nearly identical. It was just a question of which way the weird break would go, and this time it was in the Giants favor with the blown long snap... next time it could go the Steelers way.Two things bothered me a bit. First, for the Giants, what was up with those two back-to-back time-outs (well, one time-out and a penalty for delay of game)? Regardless of what the Steelers defense was showing, the Giants should have had some kind of audible ready. In the end it didn't matter when Manning popped a beauty into Toomer's gut, though.
And second, on the Steelers side, could you find two worse offensive sequences than the last two they had? That was a terrible effort on their part .... but the Steelers offense never really clicked at all during the whole game.
That might just be the two best defenses in the NFL, great game to watch if you like bone crunching hits ....
And the Jets
. I know that a win is a win, but that surely was a poor showing ....

Sorry amigo, but the Saints are not going to win the NFC south. It's going to either be Tampa Bay (again) or Carolina.
The sting of the Steelers loss is minimized a tad by the Colts doing down hard to Tennessee. The fact that crybaby Manning's picks partially led to it make it even sweeter!!!

Where, once again I ask, where have you seen Peyton whine? I am a diehard Colts fan and I have never seen him whine since he has been with the team. You can believe what you want in your own head but it doesn't make it true.
As for the interceptions, the one to Reggie was just a good Titan D creating an opportunity. The one to Dallas Clark, that he should have caught, was not Peyton's fault. It was in Clark's hands and he let it go through. Matter of fact, there have been a lot of dropped passes this year. I know Peyton hasn't been as accurate as in past years but there have been way too many that were catchable but the receivers dropped them. Hell, there have been at least four (that I can remember) passes tipped up by WO's that have resulted in picks.
Anyways, you can put your hate to bed for this season as my Colts are pretty much done for the season. All they really have is pride to play for now and they surely don't have much of that.

Peyton was at fault for one last week, and not at fault for the other. The 99 yd TD pick to Rouse was ENTIRELY Peyton's fault. He just failed to account for a safety who was capable of making a good break on the ball. Collins' TD pick was just like the others you mentioned...bounced off a receivers hand.
Wow, the Colts looked bad tonight. The Titans made them look worse than they probably are though. It's great seeing former Gator ,Jevon Kearse, out there playing for the Titans again. It's also great to see former Vol, Peyton Manning, lose another game.
I don't know why a guy can't figure the Titans for the AFC side of this years SB right about now. I guess argument #1 is they haven't played anyone yet. The Colts were a big test tonight, more emotionally than physically.

I don't like Manning. At all. I've seen several interviews with him in the past where he's tried to coyly pass off blame to others while on the podium, even though much of the blame was sitting squarely on his shoulders. As I've said before, I do like Dungy a lot though, so the losses are bittersweet.
Some of the picks over the last few weeks were definitely NOT Manning's fault... But some most definitely were. I've always thought there should be a separate category for interceptions that were not the QB's fault.

Until Chucky goes away, you guys will never see another ring. He got "his" ring with Dungy's team, and they've gotten worse every year since.
With the offense you guys put on the field against the Cowgirls this past weekend, you're gonna be lucky to end with a winning record.
