But I did like that the Bears won once both teams had to use backup QBs.

If he's not back soon there won't be any playoffs to come back to. So is Matt Flynn on the roster before the end of the day?
Is this the end of the road for Dolphins coach Joe Philbin? He accepted responsibility for the environment in the locker room. Apparently none of the players felt confident enough to report the harassment of Martin to Philbin? Or maybe they did, and he covered it up? Maybe he didn't take it seriously?

That's a political statement IMO. Anyone in sports knows that 99% of a locker room is self managed, mostly by the senior players. That's the way it has been for years. Looks like that's about to change though.
This story is still developing, and the last I just read on ESPN.com is Martin never reported it to Philbin.
Yes, the locker room is self managed. However if these reports are all true about Incognito, this goes beyond self management by a couple vets in my opinion.

How is Philbin supposed to know that a player left another player a voicemail until the recipient reveals it?
There are a number of issues beyond the text messages and voicemails, such as cafeteria outcasting and extorting additional funds from younger players to fund veterans' junkets.
Or maybe the league-leading 35 sacks allowed might draw attention to the interactions of the O-line. Aren't these guys able to work together? What's the deal?
In my brief experience as an athlete, it was always a coach's and staff's duty to at least have a finger on the pulse of the locker room climate and player interpersonal dynamic.

He wouldn't, but the prevailing attitude from the top down is those kind of actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. As electracoyote brings out in his comment, this is more than one voicemail with racist overtones in it.

Lions get a nice road win in Chicago with their defense. And they now stand alone on top of the NFC North, woot, woot. 
Don't worry I'm realistic, I'm not online looking for superbowl tickets. But this Lions team does seem like a better team than anything we've had here before. And with Rogers down in GB and the Bears still searching for an identity under Tressman, this year is as good as any. It looks like the Lions will be playing a Rogers-less GB who don't even have a back up on Thaksgiving. They get Burelson and Ansah back next week and could be significantly better.
