22 seasons in a row in the postseason. The Wings finish # 7 on the last day of the season. Hey this is the NHL, all you have to do is get in.


Considering they had Samuelson, Helm and Bertuzi out for most of the season and Lidstrom retired they did OK. About where I figured they'd finish. In the last 11 games they've only given up 14 goals, so they are getting hot at the right time. Bring it on Anaheim.

Howard was a stud for the last month, but the defense didn't allow alot of shots also - they really tightened it up. They are going to need that playoff time, since goals are hard to come by.

I'm hoping the B's win tomorrow against the Senators, but if they get 1 point in an OT loss - what is the tiebreaker with them and Montreal?

I'm sorry to see Columbus eliminated. They fought so hard. No one expected anything from them and they surprised. I hope they can build on it next season. Having them in the playoffs would have been pretty exciting.

Looks like Islanders are playing Montreal, these guys have some playoff history together.

If Boston wins tonight, the Habs will play the Leafs. If the Sens win, it'll be the Sens.

I don't believe playing the Islanders is a possibility at this point.

I'm also OK with the Pens not playing the Rags... they're a shell of the team from last year, but still have plenty of potential to be very dangerous in the playoffs.

Next year they are in the east. It will only get harder.

I think you'll be surprised, while their are some good teams in the east no doubt, I suspect travel weighs really hard on both Columbus and Detroit. Also both teams have got lots of cap space if there are any decent free agents.
