I'll be pulling for Pittsburgh.
How ironic would it be to see Pittsburgh and Detroit again in the Finals, this time with Hossa on the other bench?
I've been pulling for canes ever since i knew what hockey was. I think It's Brind]amour's last season, id like to see him hoist that cup again.
that was fantastic...really exciting finale.
did you see how fast thomas was out of there? I played goal a while a back, and when those kind of goals went by it took longer to look at the back of the net and realize what had happened. He knew and was gone really fast...weird.
so i can still hope for a chicago/pittsburgh final.
Detroit really surprised me by having such a hard time with the Ducks. I could totally see Chicago skating circles around them. Hopefully Babcock gets everyone focused and prepared for this next series.
I could also see Detroit taking apart Chicago in five or six like they did us last year.

Perhaps next year, the Bruins are clearly moving in the right direction.
Detroit sweeps Chicago.

Not really. The ducks style of play is benefited by the inconsistent calls. I have never seen a team so blatantly cross check in front of their own net, and not get called for crosschecking, as the ducks.

So no chance the Ducks are any good?
-Mike
I didn't say they weren't any good, I just said their style is different.
I also said way back in the thread that they are probably the best 8 placed team in recent memory. Other than Detroit and San Jose, they are probably they most difficult team to beat in the west.
