NHL Season 2018-19

Another day, another Blue suspended one game for a dirty and completely unnecessary headshot.

Par for the course by now.

The refs took a beating for their performance last game, so Berube's working the refs gambit which worked for awhile will hopefully spark a little karmic backlash against the Blues. However the game is called, the B's need to better 5v5 as the Blues have been the better team even-strength. An early, preferably soft, goal would shake the Blues conference.

I'm frustrated by my fellow Bs fans griping about the officiating (which, yes, was very bad in Game 5). Shut up already; that's not why we lost.

The Bs' top scorers are not showing up this series. If they were, poor officiating wouldn't matter. I'm glad these next two are elimination games for us. Maybe that will get Marchy and Bergy and Krejci and Pasta to, y'know, score a goal or two.

But it's discouraging if that's what it takes for them to perform.

The whole western conference will shake?

:roflmao:

No one should give up on their favorite team 'til the large lady sings.

Isn't it possible, though, to acknowledge when your favorite team isn't playing its best? Especially when it hasn't been playing well enough to win?

I, too, know that the Bruins are easily good enough to win this series. The fact that they're not is why I'm so critical of them now.

I do hope they win. But I'm not interested in lying to myself.

Yes but StL also got very out played during parts of this series as well

Its part of the journey

Not criticizing-I'm a Lightning fan. Was, still am.
