Been a hockey fan since 1975, and evidently have been wrong since 1975 regarding the 'H' in the Canadiens' logo. Always thought it stood for 'Habitants', a nickname of sorts for the Canadiens. How wrong I was...

Was at a graduation party for one of my sons teammates yesterday and the honoree's two best friends were absent. We found out that somehow they got a job for the day picking up the Red Wings draft picks at the airport and taking them to Little Caesars Arena for the start of the Wings development camp this week. All through the party they were sending pics of themselves with Seider and the other new kids. Pretty nice work if you can get it.

Yup, and how about Marleau going to the Wind in a cap move? They will buy him out and he can re-sign with SJS for the discount. Leads get cap relief, Wind gets to the floor, and class Patty gets to finish up where he is happiest. Win, Win, Win.
