As promised, I have pics of the final stages of TMNT 1 on Nes. They're grainy and out of focus, but I since when you pause the game, you get the character selection menu, I couldn't take the pics and play at the same time, so my brother took 'em. Blame him. Pic 1: The technodrome. Once you beat this baby, you enter it for the final stage.

p.s. What's this rubbish about Splinter becoming human?

hey, phil. in the 1987 cartoon and the stuff loosely based on it (instead of the comic), splinter is actually a transformed man named hamato yoshi. in the comic, as well as the movie series, splinter is simply a rat that learned martial arts from hamato yoshi and then got mutated into a giant rat.

in fact, for the first few episodes, the goal of the turtles is to force shredder to turn splinter back into his human form, but i bet this plotline was dropped once it became apparent that rat-splinter was needed for the long haul.

(i've been watching some of the episodes off of youtube recently. raphael is still the coolest! )
