that's weird. his message to me when i asked if they had short scale p basses was "We do not - we are currently in the process of purging all SX basses from our inventory."

"For 2024 we are not expecting any more bass guitars" and "we are currently in the process of purging all SX basses from our inventory" don't sound like contradictory statements to me. I read them as: "SX isn't making these any more so we want to scrub them from our catalog so that we don't have to keep it open and make customers think they're current products when they're really just the last few old units gathering dust in a corner of the warehouse."
