No to be unkind, but is this a joke?

It's got that anti-consumerist hipster lo-fi DIY vibe, except you don't have to actually do anything other than use your parents credit card shopping on the internet. It probably comes with the new Jack White screaming weasel guitar sound pre-installed. If I didn't already use a 1x8 covered in $15 worth of 2" velcro to hold my 3 pedals, I might consider this piece of crap.

If you went in as a stranger to a woodworking shop and asked him to make you the same thing as the rondo board, at the same level of (non) quality, It'll be A LOT more than $20 something. In that light I think the rondo board does have a market and like most rondo stuff is reasonably good for what it costs.

essentially true or not, half the 'sell' in stuff like this is presentation, to which there is just massive fail on all fronts. it's poor business practice, imo, to present this article in this manner, that is at the heart of my reason for posting this. At LEAST pick a flattering angle that doesn't make it look like the equivalent to the 'last kid picked for kickball covered in his own sick '.

I really didn't mean to be unkind here, it's just laughable...
from the shoddy paint to the peeling overlay at the corners, it just screams "I do not belong for sale on a professional business' webstore', and I am also, somehow, very sad"...there's no 'SX' branding on this so I kind of ignore the cheap shots across their bow by some here just jockeying for cheap shots at that brand. I have an SX and I love it.

Rondo's always suffered from out of date presentation and a clunky website, this is just a notable example. The worst picture of an SX or Agile is on Rondo's site. From what I can tell, he's doing alot of business though. They have pretty good prices on their instrument cases & gigbags by the way, But their smaller pedal/mic cases etc are kinda goofy to me.

Right. Unless Rondo has an ETSY account, or something like that, this is ridiculously inappropriate for a regular professional store-front website. Despite the low prices and budget quality, Rondo has some street cred. This is something way below them. If not a joke, then just really weird.

I like this from the description:

So what, you take your pedals off the board so it fits in the case? What do you do with your pedals? What's the point?

The hand drawn schematic is a nice touch as well.
