The Noble is probably the best piece of gear I own. You won’t be disappointedI just placed my name on the wait list. I’m hoping this will give me the subtle tube sound I’ve been looking for.
I’m going to be excited in 7 months.

+1 to what Ivan said. The Noble is probably the single best investment in my gear that I've made. For me, it was worth every cent. If what you're looking for is that tube warmth and thickness, without the OD, this is it!

This board just makes me very happy. Like Ivan said, I predict you will be very happy...![]()
@IvanBassist
I just watched this video again,
Is the lofi sounding backing track that you used at the end something I can track down for practicing at home (either free or for purchase)?

This Noble rack mount version arrived to me today.. I ordered it back in August...
Why? It’s meant for rack install.the position of the in and out jacks are impractical.

With gear that some will use live and some in the studio in open racks it you’re not going to maximize convenience for both camps. Studio people tend to like a clean array of front panel controls without inputs to reach around or bump so there’s a strong bias towards rear inputs. Live performance people need to patch and troubleshoot quickly and are rarely close enough to bump inputs.26120472[/URL], member: 72947"]I understand this. And I've gigged racks, and it appears the Noble will have a shallow footprint inside a standard rack, which means you're going to have to reach deep inside from behind to attach and detach the cable jacks. That's extra friction and a pain in low-light scenarios. Better to have the jacks in front for speedy operations.
My Noble is due in about a fortnight, so it's time to prepare!
I don't want to run two separate power cables from my board and the Noble is not able to power all my pedals, so I was thinking about a split cable.
I have a Warwick Rockboard that has a pass through for the power cable, so basically I'd need a Y cable with an IEC C14 plug on one end and two IEC C13 on the other ends. One of them should be 90°, for the noble.
Does such a thing exist? How did the proud owners of Noble Preamps solve this?
