I bought a Mono Club bag. It's really nice; light weight with good protection.

Personally, I would be most comfortable with the pelican 1550 (or slightly bigger model) If I were touring and my noble/pedalboard was spending time (bouncing around)
in a trailer.

I would have peace of mind, but as I previously stated, the pelican case and a full pedaltrain board gets heavy! I wouldn't want to carry that thing around...


I do have faith in my mono club, it's comfortable to transport and as long as I pack strategically, I know it'll keep the noble and pedals safe.

It will be silly to say I'm on the fence because I certainly want one but I'm just waiting to put all of my ducks in a row (which could take forever).

Anyone here travel a bunch or use a bunch of backline? I like to get most of my sound from my board that way I'm not beholden to a specific amp. The only thing that worries me is compatibility abroad. It's not like I'm gigging in Europe any time soon (or ever) but I like to plan for ridiculous things like that.

Do you international guys use converters or just swap the fuses in your Noble?

I played Japan earlier this year (live in Australia) and just swapped the fuze and used a plug adapter. No problems at all and the Noble has shone with every backline I've used (quite varied). Well worth it!

I just got a Tecamp 212 speaker cab. What would you all suggest as a head? I don't have to go too crazy in terms of features since my Noble is my sound. Looking at 500 hundred watts in a micro amp. Something I can possibly get for a steal. I know about tonehammers of course!

Since Mesa came out with the 800+, the D800 has been popping up regularly . .. I use a D800 with the Noble into it sometimes and it's great

Jule Potter's M700 is all you need. But you won't get one for a steal.

Thanks guys. All viable options, but I was looking to see if I could stay at $500 or under if possible. If not, no big deal but I am open to lesser priced options if any of you have tried anything. I have not needed a rig in years since I have been studio only, so it is cool to learn about whats out there. I'm also quite happy to just need a 212 that weighs less than 50 pounds as I was real sick of lugging around a 4x10.

I'll bet that sounds great! I use a Series III Clarus that I've had for years. Sounds great with the Noble going into the effects return.

I've used my Noble directly to the amp through the effects return on my Genzler Magellan MG800, and it sounds fantastic... but, I cannot tell the difference between direct and through the main input with everything flat. Someone out there may be able to in a studio setting, but in a real-world situation I really doubt it. I primarily use the eq on the Noble, but like having quick tweaks available on the amp - and I like the choices in the eq and drive settings that Jeff Genzler's group came up with.
