Noble Amps Preamp

I was wondering if any of you guys tour with your Noble on your pedalboard and if so, what kind of protection you use.

I already got a Pedaltrain Jr which is enough for my needs but got an old version with the soft bag. Now I don't want to buy another one just to get the tour case and was thinking about the Mono Club.

Any of you got experience with the Mono and would you trust it with your Noble for touring?

I'm looking into the Mono Club as well for my pedaltrain jr. I just bought a pelican 1550, and the JR fits snugly but it's pretty heavy (with a full board)

Heavier than I want to carry around one handed for long distances...

I'm hoping the mono club will be a good choice/compromise regarding protection and weight.

Here's my current setup:
Noble powering everything minus the tuner (battery)

Here's my current pedalboard. PT Classic JR - not seen is a microThumpinator mounted under the pedalboard. Everything is powered by the Noble. I ordered it with an optional 12v power outlet to power the Cali76 CB. Everything else is run 9v. I am using multi outlet cables, with thought as to what is like to be on at the same time, or not when planning the power cable runs. Seems to be working very well, with no audible issues. Previous to the Noble I was powering my pedals with a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus.

So no issues running a multi cable from one outlet??
I've wondered this, but was a bit leary to try

Had both, was going to sell the v2, but I preferred the down of the v3 and up sweep of the v2. This way I don't have to bend down to flip a switch. Not lazy, just old and creaky.

No issues. I run the two protons and microThumpinator off the same cable. And the tuner and Anadime Chorus share one - the others get their own cable. I never have everything on, so no overall power headroom issues. I've been told that the G70 wireless can be fussy, but so far so good (and I carry the spare power for it in my kit just in case I find that situation)

More often than not I use a stripped down Nano + with the Noble, a tuner, Cali and whatever effect I need for that Sunday's service. Rock gigs get the whole board, and also services when we are doing stuff with synth bass that I need to cover.

OK that's kind of what I'd assumed. I have several envelope filters on my board for different sounds. I like to think of them as like patches on synth. I totally get not wanting to bend over to adjust them.

After a series of emails between me and Jack this spring, it would seem 12V is the max output for the D.C. power outlets. I had enquired about possible ways to run my BassBone from the Noble, and getting rid of an extra wall wart. But Jack said the Noble pre couldn't do 15V (never mind the whole polarity flip issue). I asked about using two 9V ports with a voltage doubling cable (to get 18V, which the BassBone could work with), and he said that was a no-go as well, due to the D.C. outputs not being isolated.

But definitely contact Jack (he's on TalkBass), and ask him about options. He's a super-cool guy who really cares about his products and his customers!
