Noble Amps Preamp

I'm simply not educated enough!
Please indulge me in how it could be done?

Bass into the Noble's instrument input, Noble's DI out (the XLR) into the balanced input of a one-channel power amp.

Or, to preserve the DI out for feeding the house system, run the Noble's unbalanced out (the 1/4") into a power amp with an unbalanced input.

Not cheap, but the power section on glockenklang stuff is so smooth, loud and quick. Pairing my Glock Blue Soul with a Monique was the best tone I've ever had. Very interested to see how the Noble would do in front of the Glock, the footprint is so perfect!

Has anyone ran the Noble before dirt other effects in chain?

has anyone run the Noble before their effects? I currently run a dirty and clean line to FOH and run a mixed signal to my amp via a blender. Wondering if I could run the Noble pre split and get the tubeyness for both channels (dirty and clean) via the 1/4 out and not use the xlr out.

So I just acquired a Phil Jones BG-150 Flightcase and the combo includes a DI. Have to say the small combo sounds terrific - and it sounds even more big and 3D with the Noble preamp. Preferred setting is to use the line out of the Noble into the Flightcase's input jack. More flexibility and better sound than using the effects loop.

But my question is about the DI. The Noble XLR output impedance is 420 ohms. The Flightcase is 200 ohms. The Flightcase DI sounds very good, clean, and conveys the goodness added by Noble. However comparing A to B, the Noble XLR signal still sounds better. More 3D and alive.

For anyone who knows, is output impedance a factor? Other reasons?

My uunderstanding is the highger the output impedance the more detailed the sound.
My Basswitch has an input impedance switch designed for piezo pickups and the difference between the two is noticeable. I surmise that it would be the same in your case I.e. higher = more detail. I’m happy to be told otherwise

When I was looking to buy, the used items were going for not much less than new. The only advantage over ordering one from Jack was that you wouldn't have to wait a month to get it in your hands.

Pedal Pad AXS III (20") with optional Carbon Fiber look Tolex. I love it! Not visible is my microThumpinator, or Walrus Audio Aetos Isolated Power Supply, which are mounted under the hinged pedalboard surface. The power connects through an external mounted IEC power jack. Very clean. The interior is carpeted, so Velcro sticks very well. I'm looking at mounting more pedals below and run them off the Loop. Some pedals run off of the Noble as well.
